How to Get The Most Benefit When Buying More than 5 iPad ? (about AUD $3500 ~ 4000)

Hi experts,
I just came out this issue that I have to buy more than 5 iPad (maybe 7 or 8) and the total amount would be over AUD $3500 .
(I have ANZ and Commonwealth credit card.)

So does any expert could advise me how to get the most benefit way to buy those gift?
I don't mean how to buy it cheap, I am asking how would I get the most something back. Like cash back or gift…etc.
For example, I am wondering if I bought these in The good gxy or in Myxr, I might get 5% cashback or got a voucher for 100$…
That's what I am imaging and I couldn't find it out. (Actually I even don't know what's the appropriate key word.)

Sorry for my poor English if there is something express unwell.
Any idea would be much appreciate.

PS:if I post in the wrong place, would you please advise me where to post.

Wouldn't buying it cheap and getting cash back possibly be the same result (ie. lower initial spend vs et spend after cash back)?

In saying that, there never seems to be much margin in apple products, so you might be better off buying discounted gift cards with a credit card the offers reward points.

Maybe the OP is being reimbursed for the purchase and doesn't care as much what the price is, more what the non-invoice benefits are.

      • Good point.

      • Yes that's for commercial usage. Good point.

  • Perhaps an education or commercial supplier?

If you're deploying a fleet, then that could give you effective access to bulk discounts. You've also got easy warranty/setup options available.

If you're intending to re-sell them, and make money pocketing the possible cashbacks, then I'm not able to help. Especially on Apple products, with their tight margins.

    • I am not going to re-sell them, I am just assigned to buy them for specific people.
So your suggestion is pretty good that I should ask shops like JB hi-5 or Good gxy for these kind of bulk buying.
      Thanks man.

      • Yeah if you can somehow score a bulk buy discount then definitely go that way otherwise if you are fine with used you can save up to a $1000 total by going the used market way

      • Any intended user(s) may be enrolled in an Educational organisation, that offers larger discounts.

Of course, those that promise to go 100% Apple have largest discounts.
I don't know if you can buy more than of each type of Apple product, per student.

PS What is Apple your choice? Compare specs & apps… & go Android.

  • take a cheap flight overseas or time it so you buy within 30 days of a flight, so you claim GST back on the way out.

    • Definitely over the $900 GST free threshold

  • "The good gxy or in Myxr" ?

For ultimate savings i would go gumtree or ebay route but i already assumed that you might've have or already thought about it so in that case maybe keep an eye out for them in their ozbargain page for good deals the mass order?

  • If you want Qantas points use the Qantas mall to buy them at the Apple Store.

I'd avoid gumtree and eBay with all the blocked IMEIs etc on here lately.
