OzBargain is not a portal for your website. You have told your fellow OzBargain members nothing whatsoever about what you sell.

    General guidelines
Be descriptive – a title that just says “Big Sale at Myer” is much less useful than a title that says “Kids Wear 20% off Sale at Myer, Sydney CBD Only”

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelin…
Write a descriptive title & description
    5. If shipping is required, state the shipping cost to major Australian cities if this information is available; approximate range is ok if the exact cost is variable or not available. (Store representatives must provide this information - there should be no reason to hide this from potential customers.)
    6. State any relevant terms & conditions, such as expiry date and any “hidden catches”.

We have trunkies for our kids and they are pretty good.
    This isn't a deal though it's spam.
I'm guessing your now the Aus importer for them not the actual manufacturer which you imply on the site?

    • I have never seen a vendor's post with so little information!

  • Thanks for your feedback.

The website does explain the product quite well.

You will find a number of products that are not available elsewhere. The new Eat range and also the brand new Una Unicorn and Pedro Pirate Trunki. We also have some sale items where the discount works such as the Union Jack Trunki.

That is not what your description area tells us.

Not according to the pop-up I mentioned earlier, which also demanded FaceBook following. As I type, your website is unavailable.

  • I think what they mean is that most people in Australia have no idea what a Trunkie is and don't want to have to look on a website to find out.

Trunkies are ride on suitcases for kids. Genius idea in my opinion.

Trunkies are huge in the UK. The owner went on Dragons Den and got rejected for the most petty reason. The strap wasn't strong enough (an easy fix!). I loved seeing how popular Trunkies went on to become because they are brilliant.

  • I see a lot of frustrated parents at the airport pulling their kids along on these while carting along other luggage.

    • I think you underestimate the frustrated parents without this bag. Traveling with kids is a pain no matter what you do.

Tru dat. But in my experience the one I had was not made well. They tip over easily, the wheels are cheap plastic and do not rotate well. Also the case can crack easily. I dropped one from about 1 meter height and it did not survive.so never again for me.

Just get your kid a regular kids suitcase with a telescopic handle like the rest of us trust me they will get a buzz out of it and you will get to the gate on time with less risk of tears.

1 metre drop broke it? If this ever goes in checked baggage, it won't last. Baggage attendants throw bags like there's no tomorrow

  • Website was up earlier but seems down now. Also worth noting that these Trunki bags are also sold at David Jones if you've never seem them before and want to try them out. We meant to buy one earlier, but our son was slightly too small, so we'll just buy one before next time we travel. They make a lot of sense to me.

We have two trunki for our son. I bought one myself then won one from a competition.

We've taken it flying three times. It's a way to distract our son from wandering around. But there is always risk of him pushing trunki randomly and hit someone (so far no incident like this yet). I would never let our 5 yo ride on it without me holding the other end of the strap. You'll never know what kind of cr-p kids can come up with.

    Pros:
    - keep kids entertained
    - a place for them to sit for long queue (rather not break your back carrying them while struggling with your own handbag at airport)
    - can fit decent amount of stuff the kid would need in the plane (I normally pack his blanket, snacks and toys)
    - surprisingly small enough size to fit under the seat in front of us when flying with Qantas business class

    Cons:
    - hard case, which means bulky so you need more space to open
    - quite cumbersome for parents to carry (I solve the problem by looping the shoulder strap on my carry on luggage handle)
    - risk of kids rolling around without supervision (bumping into things/people)

  • I recently bought my new Union Jack Trunki on trunki.com.au for only $42.46 after receiving 15% discount when I entered the website - couldn't find such a good deal anywhere else! Thank you!!!
