I found it pretty good especially the weekends when it is already $15 to park in the city especially around haymarket.
Does take a little bit of walk but l think is worth it treating it abit of exercise same time, kills two bird with one rock hey!

There is some fine print though. Entry to the car park must be after 6pm with a minimum spend of $15 in one transaction.

  • Bondi Pizza (no minimum spend required)
  • Bun Me
  • Cha time
  • Din Tai Fung
  • Eat Istanbul
  • Gelato Heaven

  • The new Food court is more expensive than the previous :-(

I found the same thing. A lot of my favourite eateries seem to have vanished too. I think the new glitzy refurbishment has pushed up the rents for the eateries, pushing out my favourites. I'm eating around Newtown and Glebe (after visiting Broadway) now where it's far cheaper.

broadway shopping centre is still far away from haymarket.

i find some Wilson /secure parking wekkend rate is $10 and you can use 10% discount too.
Or sign up with Secure newslatter you can have one day weekend parking for free.

    • Mind sharing which carparks in Sydney cbd area still have the $10 weekend rate please? The new one in Darling Quarter was $7 when it first opened 3-4 years ago and has climbed steadily ever since to a heady $15 or so now :(

  • Obviously trying to drum up business for the refurbished food court. Thanks, will keep in mind in case it's useful.

  • Broadway has 2hrs free parking regardless of spend…

    • Yea and? That's not what this deal is about… this is about free untimed parking. i.e. Park from 6pm-9pm and it's free, unlike the "2 hours free you've just mentioned"

    • If you spend $20 or $30(I can't remember exact amount), they can validate ticket for 3 hour parking.

  • Used to be free 3rd hour free if spending $20 at Harris Farms, validate within.

With this "unlimited" after 6pm, make sure you get a receipt where you bought food. You must validate this manually. I found a booth outside the Chinese restaurant opposite JB Hi Fi. Not sure if there's another but you can't scan and validate at a machine yourself.

Korean place has a combo meal for $15. You could get two kid's Mini Me at Grill'd for $15.80 (I think).

Worked best to eat and validate first, then go shopping.

How can it be unlimited parking when it's clearly 6pm-9pm?

Certainly not a deal when 2hrs is free and 3hrs is $15+

    • Not even 3hrs when you need time to buy and eat your $15+ food in 1 transaction and manually validate ticket. I will go for 2hrs free instead.

  • What time does the car park close?

  • If you can validate at the cinema you can get 4 hours parking for free. The trick is to head towards the Lux bar and the ticket scanner thing is to the left.
