(Note: I'm not sure if the "member's price" will expire. If not, technically not a deal, should be in the forums.)

I've been looking for a good Sherrin for a while. I tried Hurstville yesterday and they only had the KB which scanned at $160. I was calling around Rebel's looking for for a "Match" ball for $120, and Bondi said they could do the KB for that price (they're usually $160). I later realised that in the last day or so Rebel have added a "Member's Price" for the KB, which is a saving of $40. I didn't have to become a member.

I have also discovered the Match can be had cheaper than Rebel. The "Stadium Store" at the SFS sell them for $90.

What$$$? Do they sew these things together with gold thread?

    • No, just normal thread and child labour
[Disclaimer: Article from 5 years ago. I have no idea if they still manufacture there or not…]

  • Golly at those retail prices I'll soon have to find the old Sherrin and put it on fleabay or add it to the will.

    Made with genuine Sherrin?

  • Never knew footballs were worth so much.

    • They're not worth that much, they just cost that much…

  • Do they still make Ross Faulkner balls? (Showing my age now, lol).

    • looks like it.

they were the ball of choice when I was in primary school (SA in 70's/80's)

$88 for top shelf, $60 for 'training' ball - not sure about postage

  • Got a Sherrin for $20 at Target last season…
