It's on clearance & $10 additional for Delivery. However, there are heaps of stock available in store (Checked VIC).

    beware sizing is way BIGer than normal.
    last time tried their duckdown jacket, i fit into XS

      That information is kind of useless unless we know what your 'normal' clothes size is. For all we know you're an XXXXXXXXXXL.

          ^yep, Macpac down jacket sizing runs big.

          generally, I'd say you'd probably want to go down 1-1.5 sizes if layering, or 1.5-2 sizes if you want it to be fitted. [to clarify, they don't do half sizing - I mean if you're on the lower/upper end of a size, etc]

          I'm generally M/L (probably leaning towards L atm), but got an S and was fine with layering, eg. 2 thermals, shirt, cashmere hoodie (it was a little tight with all of that on, but it was fine).

          but yeah, best to go in store and try them on yourself!

      Instore as well. You can get your perfect size there. Check the stock before you go.

    how does this one compare to the halo down jacket that's on sale occasionally for 99 aswell?

      Halo jacket is much thicker and heavier. Halo will be significantly warmer, but this one will be significantly lighter and pack down smaller.

      Not sure about the hooded version (full specs not listed), but for example, the non-hooded men's versions are: 73.5g of fill weight for the uber light vs 205g for the halo (albeit at a slightly lower fill power: 650 vs 600). Or 65.3g vs 155g in the women's non hooded.

      Basically, the Halo is probably going to be about twice as warm, but also about twice as heavy (eg. 200g vs 550g in the women's non-hooded), and probably roughly double the size when packed down.

      So just depends on what you're looking for in warmth vs weight/packability.
