No Brune yet though? :( Why is that stuff so hard to get.

Hi mate. No damn it! I ask the importers regularly and will keep asking until we see some.

      • What is their excuse? I'm not being aggressive, just bewildered why. Are they not ordering any? Is it scarce?

Just spoke to importer again and they just can't get it. Lots of Blond but no Brune sadly. If that ever changes we'll let you know.

        • @testpilot147: Hmm, that is so strange. At least they are trying to get it.

just a warning.. It's a very sweet beer, if that's what you like. Not sure it's really beer.

    • ???????!!!!!!!!!???????

I take it you are a lager drinker, not really into ales?

  • What are the chances of getting this in the larger 750ml bottles?

    • Hi Timove. Never seen them in Australia but we'll try

      • Me either but if you could try it would be greatly appreciated!

Finding Leffe Brune for public sale has become practically mythical. Anything located would have to be grey imported but even so this beer is famously a 'no stock' item.

Must be something to do with CUB (and Lion Nathan before them) as draught Leffe Brune is still available at selected establishments country wide.

Curiously I was able to easily find Leffe Brune bottles in Thailand and NZ recently.

Great price for the Blonde in any case……

    • I wish you could just order beer online from overseas. Getting the beer I like is so hard here. Even for Aussie craft breweries. They deal with a few shxxy retailers or online stores, most of which are not interested in selling cartons.

  • Would dan price match?

  • God Dam, $99.99 at DM, good luck DM beating this price.

  • The blond is a kind of a breakfast beer but still nice. Yes the Brune is just impossible to get in Adelaide. So sick of trying I thought sod it, so I made it. Problem is I have 4 more weeks to wait till it's ready :-(

Some of the ingredience you have to change if not available.

I did the easier option and went a mash brewing pack modified with the ingredient in the recipe above.. Smell was close but the test is in the taste.
