  • Thanks op!

  • Couldn't find a copy of Doom during their boxing day sale, doubt I'll find one now.

Guess you didn't go to Warrawong NSW for PS4.

A brief PSA for anyone on the fence with Doom: get it. The multiplayer is a bit average but the campaign is brilliant.

Picked up Doom a few weeks ago, Best shooter I've played in years! Feels so olds school!

    • Agreed. I only borrowed it off a mate for the "hell" of it. Best shooter of 2016 hands down

  • If you don't own any of these games, get them at this price. You won't regret it

  • Fallout 4. I bought it with Doom when it was on sale last Dec at Target. Finally, I have stopped (hopefully) after an amazing 80hours. Still 15% of the main quest and unknown number if side quests left to complete. What an awesome game. Will finish when they release the GOTY edition.

Get Fallout if you have not.

    • Would getting the xb1 ver for Fallout 4 be good? Just cause it comes with Fallout 3. lol

      • Actually, my copy did not have Fallout 3 code. So, Target sent me a gift card for the inconvenience. Make sure sales guy places the code inside. I wanted to play FO3 first but, started FO4 as I could not find the code. I don't think you will be in the mood to play another Fallout because it takes lotta time to get accustomed to a new map. So, my bet is you will never touch FO3

I loved fallout 4 til you got to that certain place you had been seeking, I immediately lost interest at that point and any desire to finish it. It's not for everyone, I regret buying it at the midnight launch.

Lol. It is the exact point I stopped the main quest as well. The twist ruined it for me & destroyed the drive i had. few days later, i picked it up again and started wandering around and found many interesting side quests. Not too sure how much it was on launch but Well worth the $15 i spent.

  • Shame there is no stock in Parramatta, would love to grab a copy of Doom. No time for one more RPG in life right now (still gotto finish Mad Max, Witcher 3 expansions, and Bloodborne DLC ) , so will have to miss out on Fallout.

I'm in the same predicament. Would love to try Fallout but it looks like such a time sink. I've got enough massive open world games in my backlog.

Do you have an EB Games nearby? Get them to price match if they have stock. They recently sold Doom for $19 themselves so I don't think they'll have an issue doing $17.

      • The EB games in Parra was not having the copy when I checked the shelves, must have asked if they had any more stock :(

6 DOOM for Xbox one left at Mawson Lakes store SA.

  • Doom is out of stock at Broadway, NSW, despite Target's website saying 'In Stock'.

Managed to get EB Games to price match which was good.

Any word about the launch price for the PS4 exlcusive 'Nioh'?

  • I can't talk to PS4, but did anyone else find the Xbox One release of Dishonored 2 to be unfinished and borderline unplayable?

Most basic animation sequences had lag and the stealth seemed delayed. Only trust in devs releasing a patch stopped me from returning the game. I might give it another run in a few months time.

For me, I'd advise against D2 for XB1

    • I'd like to know how the PS4 version fares. I own both consoles but got this on XB1. If it's that bad I might swap it for PS4.

  • Fallout 4 getting PS4PRO enhancements next week I believe. As a side note, new system update 4.5 for the Pro will offer a Boost Mode for non Pro games. I have the beta 4.5 and e.g Battlefield4 64 player conquest modes now perform significantly better. Good times.

  • Would it be worth waiting for a Fallout 4 + Season Pass deal comes around? Otherwise we'd be getting the game cheap and having to pay full price for an old season pass?

    • The base game itself will take 100+ hours to explore a reasonable amount of map. those expansions add another 70% to the map, i heard . I think you will be overwhelmed if you go for GOTY straight.

  • nothing at cannington wa as of now

  • FO4 - fantastic game, highly recommend. And I had heard it was crap, too.

    • . Hardcore RPG gamers found ir not having real options in the coversations. On the other hand, FPS gamers found it lacking in that aspect. Graphics was not top notch for PC gamers. But it was very immersive and captivating for a noob like me. Enjoyed every moment i played it.

      • I play a fairly modded game - mostly bug fixes, extended convos…I hear they're bringing out an official retexture mod…the recommended GPU is like 8GBs…I will not be using this lol-

  • EB Brisbane Myer centre matched Doom for PS4. Just show the link and that it is in stock in Buranda.

  • EBgames priced matched Target for me.

    FO4 for $17 IS A GREAT DEAL!

  • i also couldnt find it at target except for one store but they obnly had the disc and could find the case so i wwent to big w and they price matched it i bought 2 copies one for me and one for my mate
