I just woke up. I read it as "Casino Royale" and when I clicked through I thought, "mmm… I can't remember James Bond wearing one of these."

  • Dunno if I should go for the silver one instead.

    • Haha, it's approx AU$16.80, and the silver model is just a silver coated resin case, so I feel that's a bit fake in my books.

Ended up buying it just because of the price.

        EDIT:

I had to pay USD 14.41 for the watch + shipping - referral $5.

I saw a green beret talking on YouTube wearing one of these. That's good enough for me. Having been through a series of pro treks and gshocks I've reverted back to alternating between simple digitals and divers.

I recently saw Tim Kennedy claiming Hitler lived after WW2. He was a US Navy Seal so that's good enough for me!

      • +1

I recently saw a US Navy Seal and a green beret say don't believe anything US Navy Seals or green berets say. So that's good enough for me!

I…uh…I don't believe that's good enough for me so…so that's good enough for me?

      • Well…… There's spec ops and spec ops crazy, but both kinds are dead on with feild tested kit.

      • Is that the tim Kennedy the same guy that fought in the UFC?

  • thats cheap. bought one with referal! comes down to $18

  • what's a parcel pick up point?

    • +1

It's a place where you can pick up your Amazon package that has been dropped there by the courier. It is useful for when you have to sign for deliveries and might not be at home.

      • where exactly may this be? is Woolworths one of them?

        • +3

Chemists seem to be a common option.

When checking out you can select pickup point, then enter your postcode, and see the options nearby.

        • @Jebediah_Kerman:
thanks I'll give it a go and see what option it gives me

  • Got one from Amazon last year and it's really handy if you are moving through a lot of time zones in a short amount of time.

Didn't know I wanted a watch until I saw this watch. Thanks!

  • Is it with cheese? :)

Got the silver one with stainless steel band and loving it. Wear it everyday at work, great with 4 different time zones set for international calls scheduling :)

    Excellent value.

  • Any good boy size analogue on special? School recommends none digital

    • You didn't give me much info to go on, so I will start with some Skmei cheapies because a boy is going to be pretty hard on their watches, so it's not a big outlay. The 1st one is digital, but it's a great watch.

Here is the Sanda version of the Skmei 1134 in large or small for $7.19 Shipped.

If you are set on analog - Skmei 1052 $9.69 Shipped

If you have a higher budget or a particular size & style, let me know.

Dang, wanted to get one for the pool. Stupid work got in the way…

[Edit: Stuff it, got one anyway despite losing $2 from the Lightning Offer!]

  • Got one last year after seeing it recommended on WUS and RWI. Honestly feels a bit cheap to me, bracelet is very light and obviously the case isn't metal either. Never really appreciated the quality of my seiko until I bought my Casio royale.

But then again, it is cheap.

    • As long as I could wear this in the pool!

      And have it survive.
