I've been looking to purchase one of these for a while. Catch of the day had them but their customer service was appalling and they took so long responding to my question that they sold out. They never did give me an answer. You have to be careful with this remote as there are 2 versions. The older one is apparently total rubbish. Does anyone know what one this is?

There is a newer improved version of the remote. Both have the same model no. But the newer one has a different firmware no. This is all the info I have on the different remotes: Newer model has updated firmware as older model didn't work well.
    3715eqa (old model)
    4715eqb (new model)

As the firmware no is written on the back of the remote and they both have the same model no, exact packaging and design it's like a lottery. You do not want to get stuck with the older version.

  • I got one of the last two at Brisbane CBD yesterday. Works well. Thanks OP!

    • Hi. What was the firmware number? Thanks

      • Sorry, only just checked in.
3616EQA - neither of the ones you indicated above. Maybe a "super old" model?

        • Thanks for doing that. Those codes were all I could find online about the difference in the models. Very much appreciated. Good to hear it's working well.
