How fast are these compared to the Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 sticks?

  • This drive has heating issues.

does this one also burn with the heat of a thousand suns? My ultra flair one did, $45 up in flames T.T wonder if people have claimed back their money from manufacturer..

I have ultra fit too and it gets hot as hell. So disappointing that SanDisk latest stuff is overheating

        • yeah. and if it actually transferred stuff at the rate it heats up, at least i dont run the risk of overheating it. But I was looking at the graph of write speeds and it goes from 0.1 - 4 - 9 - 0.1. So annoyed!! It was actually way way faster to just use a USB 2.0

        • @kza2610: more to it than that. Depends on the type of flash storage used and the controller used. Long story short is that a lot of these low end flash drives only do low speeds. Have to pay extra for something like lexar p10 or SanDisk extreme that absolutely blast thru speeds at over 100mb/sec consistently.

  • Good price but too many reports of it being "too hot" to touch.

But the ones you linked to aren't the dual-drive.

Is the dual drive, which is $36.76 after the 20% discount for 64GB

    • Thanks, nicely spotted. edited.
