'Great to take away camping and bash away, hit into the river, at the neighbours, all over the back paddock, etc.'

+1 for that comment alone. Those neighbours will never know what hit them!

This promotes the pollution of our Bush and waterways. Not sure how this is different from straight littering (apart from the fun factor of course!).

Anyway, littering is free - no deal.

    • Completely agree, I'd much rather buy balls from golf courses who go and collect the lost balls that are polluting the waterways than buy from this mob.

hey guys can see your point of view, we actually support those who collect those lost balls and keep those people in jobs, as we buy the balls back from them. So we are doing our bit as well, out of those re-covered balls there are are many that have been in waterways for years and are so badly damaged or polluting that we dispose of the correct way through recycle waste

That's good and all, but how about you promote that rather than promote littering when selling them. You might have put that description for a comedic value, but people genuinely might go and do all that stuff, which in turn does exactly what MJ1 said.

How about you put this as your description:

"These aren't the best of the best when it comes to golf balls but these are perfect for practicing and improving your game, we retrieve these from recycling ball collectors and sell to make it available for everyone around the country!"

There, simple as that and doesn't promote littering.

          @BigTed:
or the fun police will shoot you down or maybe just hit you with a recycled golf ball

        • @iand: some people are just humourless bastards about some stuff.

  • Cheaper alternative @ treasure hunters sunshine if its close to u, pack of 20 balls from memory maybe more $7 Nike logo

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100-Range-Golf-Balls-C-Grade-Prac…

this is just one quick example of a cheaper deal.
I ordered 200 balls a couple of months back for $25 delivered on eBay and they were B grade balls too.
This is not even close to a deal.

hey if you want a deal like this we can do that as well, need to compare apples with apples when comparing against others.
our deal is for a well known brand name being srixon and then the quality is different as well, these are proper golf balls that will fly correctly.

used range balls will vary with their flight etc i can do 100 balls like that and make them brand names, like, taylormade, callaway, bridgestone, titleist etc for $30 delivered being cheaper than the post you tagged on ebay, just let us know

Why do I need brand name balls for the practice range?

Yeah no deal as mentioned above.

Thanks but I don't need any practice balls I went through the shed the other day and found 4 postage satchels full that I had bought from you over the years.

Comparing range balls with non range balls is silly. Range balls are limited flight (by design) and have probably been hit tens of thousands of times each (with each and every dimple thrashed to within an inch of it's life, sometimes past it) as opposed to maybe 100 or less with the recycled balls. It's not going to make any difference to the non golfer just having a hit for fun but for any golfer capable of getting the ball airborne you'll certainly be able to tell the difference.
