AUD $124.99 for NBA League Pass Annual Subscription (normally AUD$249.99)

  • Edit: Annual subscription doesn't apply for 12 months from purchase date so will only be valid until 1/9/2017, could still save $$ for users who are currently subscribed monthly

  • No VPN required this price applies to all local subscribers. The promo doesn't state that its region specific so users of a VPN should be able to get 50% off the price regardless of region.

  • Promo code can be found here: NBA

  • Also eligible for 7.50% Cashback through CashRewards

The promo commencement/end time doesn't specify if it is based on Australian or US time/dates, but it is deducting the 50% off correctly as of now.

Whats it work out to in Canadian $$? (At work, can't check)

    •

$125.39 CAD is the direct conversion, but I'm assuming if you use a VPN located in Canada that it will apply the same 50% off to whatever their listed annual price is.

      •

Yep that was what I was getting at.. should work out pretty cheap..

        •

~AUD$90 using Canadian VPN (Opera browser) without the code

    •

No, doesn't work for Canada. Comes up as "this promotion code you entered is not valid". However the current season pass is $89.99CAN without any discounts, so not too expensive (around $120 AUD)

        Damn, thanks for checking

It's still Feb 8 in Canada? Says valid from Feb 9 to Feb 13. Perhaps try again in a few hours?

        Canadian is 1 to 1?

You're right. Not sure what I was converting but its $90AUD which is much better

Does this promo work if we VPN and buy it in a cheaper region (ie - 50% off Indian prices)?

    •

I haven't tried it myself, but yeah I would assume that it applies 50% off whatever the price is in that region

    •

I purchased a league pass at the start of the season using a VPN to India. When purchasing, I even used my existing account and Australian address. I don't use the VPN when watching games and have not had any issues.

  •

As an aside, very simple to buy League Pass at the low Canada rate at the start of the season using a VPN. (For some reason, you can't nominate Raptors as your team for this to apply). From there, clear your PC's cache and enjoy watching on laptop or phone.

For the best League Pass experience, the NBA app for the Xbox One is essential. Might also be available for PS4, haven't bothered to check yet.

Maybe a reliance on NBN for 1080p streaming, but we'll worth the $100 odd dollars I paid in the pre-season.

    Great deal, OP!

50% off standard price. Only 40% of the season left.
Hmm…not sure if thats a deal or not.

The start of season isn't that important. The playoffs are ultimately what matters.

Just do month by month when playoff starts then?

        •

Yeah you could. But if you want to watch the backend of the season, including a couple of months before the playoffs, then this deal seems to give you a little over 4 months of matches for the price of 3.

Thanks OP. Not an annual sub.
Subscription is only valid until 31 Aug 2017.

  •

good one but I'm got my fingers crossed they do a similar deal like last year.

  •

I've been watching Ximo pierto final on YouTube all season as I only ever watched condensed games anyway. So this is kinda good for people like me as I only want a league pass for the playoffs.

Same, that's a good channel. The NBA is, well all American sports really, unwatchable live. 48 minute games that go for 4hrs and 48mins. They really need to go to the international rules and none of this 10 timeouts over the last 10secs of a game.

Has anyone had any luck with this? I cannot seem to get it to work. (Promo code, that is)

    • +1 vote

The code doesn't seem to work in Canada, which is super annoying as it's the cheapest place. However, the code definitely works in Aus, and from India. Using it in India brings the price to approximately $55 AUD, which is pretty reasonable.

Just bought it using Canada VPN plus 7.5% cashrewards which should make it around $85aud.

    Cheers,

did anybody get their $1.99AUD back for this trial?

edit: actually I think I did.. seems like my Coles Reloadable MC is back to its original $10 balance.
