    8 Pack Now Only $39.99

    40 bucks for 8 icy poles…

    There's a sucker born every minute… literally…

    • +9

And what's worse is 4 of them are non-alcoholic despite the title stating POPS Alcohol Icy Poles

2 Bellini – a mix of peach, hibiscus and Prosecco (3.8% ABV)
      2 Champagne – French Champagne! (4.3% ABV)
2 Apple & Elderflower – non-alcoholic and made with real fruit.
2 Strawberry & Mint – non-alcoholic and made with real fruit.

      • Actually that's a fair point sorry mate. Will amend.

        • +4

Still doesn't justify $5 each though. Zooper Doopers are $5 for 24. I can just pour a dash of vodka in the top.

        • +3

@bricabrac89: vodka doesnt freeze but i like your idea.. might go for a DYI job myself.. actually, we should thank OP for giving us all the idea to make these ourselves at a fraction of $40 for 8, heheh

        • +1

@bricabrac89: Something for everyone mate. You can give it a go and lemme know how it goes =) Maybe we can stock it on Tipple one day lol

        • +1

@Iggemo: I'd recommend to try it with a Prosecco or Champagne ;)

  • +2

And prepare for the bargainers to poo poo this so called bargain

  • we need something like these in Sydney this weekend!!!
    might make my own.

    • -1

Yeah because Sydney folk will pay $40 for some flavoured ice.

    • Sorry it's not legal in Sydney yet =( We'll get there eventually.

It reminds me of Fastforward sketch with Legzopena

The original was longer and he was saying is should be pronounced Lechopena. Very funny series.

i cant type this big enough

    RIP OFF

  • price for pick up?

    • Sorry we don't do pick-up we're an alcohol delivery service. I think you can pick them up in Arbory in CBD. If you're buying in bulk you can check out the pops website for event orders

  • +1

How big are these? 100 mL each?

    Edit: 110 mL. Bargain!

    • 80ml's each. The alcoholic ones (champagne and prosecco) are 0.3 standard drinks (4.3% ABV)

      • Oh ok 80 mLs. So if I buy a six pack of the champagne ones I get 1.8 standard drinks for $48?

      • +5

        So 0.3 * 8 = 2.4 standard drinks… for $40.

        Have you made a typo?

Hahaha holy s—t half of them aren't even alcoholic. What bullshit is this?

        • No.

        • +6

Less than 1.4 standard drinks for $40 - $28.57 per drink!

I think I can buy printer ink cheaper than this.

        • +3

@picklewizard: printer ink isn't as refreshing on a hot day

        • +1

          @altomic:

printer ink isn't as refreshing on a hot day

have you tried 'magenta on the rocks' ?

      • LOL

  • +3

who the hell would buy these?

    • +6

people on 85k+ incomes, living at home with their parents and cant afford their own home.

  • +3

    this is not a bargain.

    where is the bargain?

    this is spam

    • -1

Sorry you feel that way. These generally retail at $8.50 each for the alcoholic and $6.00 for the non-alcoholic. So usually to grab 8 of these would have cost $58.00 so for us to knock off over 30% off the retail price we think it's a pretty good deal. But hey if this isn't for you no hard feelings.

      • +2

$8.50 is more than a full glass of prosecco/champagne at a bar!

  • +2

What's the normal price for this liquid gold?

    • It depends:

Classic Champagne & the Belini Prosecco are $8.50 each
Strawberry & Mint and Apple and Elderflower are $6.00 each

The summer pack we usually sell it for $54.99

  • +4

You forgot to mention the $7 delivery. So it's really $46.99 for 8 icy poles.

  • +2

think I'll just buy an 8-pack of icy poles for $3 from the supermarket…

  • Sorry we don't do pick-up we're an alcohol delivery service.

    Goodness me. That's quite expensive.

    • +1

And I thought Peter's Frosty Fruits were expensive today - only 20% off but my wife insisted.

  • +3

Common mate this has to be the the biggest rip off I have ever seen.
daylight Robery they would cost so little to make ….

  • +2

Haha wow this is a huge rip off. This is much worse than the Dyson fan.
