Easily get them from AUSLUCK ebay store for $1335.2 or 128G $1199.2,

seems they gradually release stock everyday 8 PM

      • You can get plenty non Aussie stock for cheaper price. This is local stock and warranty.

        • • "We sell 100% genuine Australian Apple products only.
          • 24 Months Apple warranty (12 months Apple One year limited Warranty +Further 12 months covered by Australian Consumer Law)
          • We provide Australian GST Tax invoice

Have a neg, cheaper @ Ausluck with 20% off

        • @Spackbace: ouch! Hope you enjoyed it. Keep it up

@Spackbace: and I don't understand how 70$ for awesome customer service, genuine guaranteed and easy returns with no dodgy customer service would be worth a negative point. I bought stuff from eBay and most of the time there's a catch or lack of service quality. Officeworks is there in every nook and corner and they'll rebate you for any fault to guard their reputation. I think for peace of mind such as that 70$ is nothing. Don't you agree? I think the moderator should seriously revoke these negative points or at least give the op a chance to contest it. You can't just go on giving negative points for minute reasons.

        • @samsal46:

          Is mobileciti authorised apple reseller?

If it's not. there is no difference between mobiciti and ausluck.

Both have awesome customer service, genuine guaranteed.

Ausluck also has a warehouse in Rowville VIC, YOU can return easily if you live in VIC

          Officeworks wont match ebay price

        • @John Kelvin: I'm talking about Officeworks. To be honest the moderator changed my heading to this. I was indicating to Officeworks as the deal. For 1414. and there's a reason Officeworks won't match eBay price.

        • @samsal46: Probably because price matching in itself isnt a deal. It's written somewhere but i cant be bothered finding it

      • Has anyone tried price matching this with Officeworks

      • I think you negged the entire deal instead of his comment?

  • AUSLUCK reputable?

i bought my macbook air from Ausluck. Came very quickly. but as they are a reseller, when I tried to register my laptop on the apple site , the 'purchase date' didnt match up. Not sure if that affects warranty..

      • I am certain it would so hold on tight to your invoice

      • That's definitely dodgy

        • +1

          just relax,

they are an australian registered business, you can get some protection from Australia Law.

        • @John Kelvin: some protection for a MacBook is not enough brah

which carpark is the van in this week?

      • its an actual shop front with ABN

        • I think if you are willing to take the risk go ahead
You can get cheaper ones from Gumtree. I just saw one for 1300.
But anyone can fake the plastic wrap and swap whatever contents. Maybe not. But always a risk

  • What exactly is it that you can do with a mobile that makes it worth $1400?? (Rhetorical question .. not actually looking for an answer .. :-( .. !!)

    • +2

What exactly is that you can do with a car that makes it worth $600k?
What exactly is that you can do with a watch that makes it worth $100k?

      Rhetorical question indeed

      • I'd suggest that if you can do most important mobile things well with a $100 phone then that's the benchmark price and anything above that is lookatmoi showboating. Like a Rolex watch really .. :-( .. !!

      You pay for the brand.
      Like LV and Beats.

They have huge margins, to cover their huge marketing.

    • @cornucopia

I have one but I got 2nd hand and can easily acknowledge it is a ripoff at rrp
the weak aussie dollar really boosted the prices
many people are willing to pay these amounts because a mobile is almost an extension of their being their soul
its a social status accessory for many even poor people will try to have a great iphone
that said our society is rich and affluent

I got a Iphone 5S for half price 3 months after release but that would be hard to get usually
Generally if you are diligent you can get one for $400 cheaper 4 months after release in perfect condition

    • Half of the cost is the admission fee for getting into Apple's iOS ecosystem, which only Apple devices can access. For that people pay up for the device.
Also, you are paying for resale value.

  • Crazy price…
