Bought the sh4 earlier this week. Pretty happy with it so far. The sound is good if a little narrow sounding (doesn't feel like the sound "fills" the room like the Samsung k-360 with virtual surround we have in the bedroom). Voices are clear in movies and music sounds good. The sub sounds strong without being over the top. Overall I prefer the sound from the lg sh4 to the Samsung k360. Haven't listened to the Bose so can't compare
Not sure if this is a comparable unit but seems pretty good for $125. Has HDMI ARC, bluetooth, etc.

I'm very confused.
I can still get the Samsung K360 for $249 and can also get a LG SH4 for $299. I have a Samsung TV, does it means it would be better to stick with the Samsung soundbar?
Is the LG much better than the Samsung? Should I spend $50 more on the LG?
They are both good. A deciding factor might be that the lg does not have a display at all, only led lights to indicate the input method selected. Eg you can not see the volume or sub level at all on the sound bar
We will use for movies only. I see the Samsung has surround sound and the LG not. Isn't it correct? Which one is your preferred?
If it's only for movies you should be happy with the Samsung. The virtual surround goes a good job. We only have it in the bedroom, so not a large area but it really does manage to give the effect as if there were rear speakers
