I'm generally not an advocate for these grey market sites, but this particular deal is done in cooperation with the developers so I feel that makes it ok.

I signed up for the Monthly Membership. First month is 1.50 EUR (+ 0.32 EUR fee) which worked out to $2.64 AUD through PayPal.
(I'd recommend going through PayPal rather than credit card as it's easy to remove the payment authorization if/when you want to cancel)

It says on the page that next month will be 2.49 EUR, however the order confirmation I received actually states 2.99 EUR for the next month so there is some conflicting info there.

Membership can be cancelled at any time.

It's also possible to make a one-time purchase without signing up to a monthly plan. Cost for this is 2.50 EUR + fee

All my keys activated without any issues.

        I have Dirt 3 (as most of us do thanks to Humble Store) and I bought Syberia 1 and 2 during the xmas steam sales and don't really have any desire for Lords of the Fallen… so it's just Super Hot that I'd be wanting.

    I know people will buy this anyways because it's cheap but I still wouldn't ever support a company like G2A given their past behaviour. It's good if they're now trying to go legit (but still skeptic due to lack of proof and Superhot not having been in any significant discount previously by itself) but their existing business practices mean having one legitimate sale doesn't suddenly make G2A anywhere near the list of companies that I'd give my money to.

      While I agree that their past behaviour leaves a lot to be desired, I'm not going to pass up on a great deal just because I despise the company. If anything, it's more the reason for me to take part so I can take advantage of them :P

      I feel much the same way as you do, but do keep in mind that those links you provided are all relating to the Marketplace. Games in this deal are from publishers/developers who are part of the G2A Direct program. These keys are not even allowed to be resold on G2A Marketplace.

      I wouldn't neg a Kogan Mobile deal just because I've had bad experiences with Kogan.

      BTW, are you sure that the steps to unsubscribe from shield are still so convoluted. I remember seeing a G2A rep on Reddit last year saying it was on their list of things to improve in the near future.

      Anyway, not looking to argue. Let people make up their own minds. Thanks for the info.

          If the developers/publishers weren't happy with whatever agreement they were presented with then they wouldn't take part.

          Same goes for all the bundle sites out there and really any other business for that matter that chooses to offer discounts or take part in promotions.

          At the end of the day there must be some value, monetary or otherwise, for them to go ahead.

          The value for G2A is in getting subscribers. I subscribed, got the games and promptly cancelled. That's what I meant by taking advantage of G2A.

        It's more along the lines of "this company shouldn't be supported" rather than "this is a bad deal" I suppose. But of course, if people are happy to give them money for their first attempt at something legitimate then they're more than welcome to, my initial comment was just a warning and my opinion (backed up with a few examples).

    To cancel your membership, on the page that displays the Steam keys, there is a Deactivate link next to "G2A Deal Monthly Membership is Active" at the top. Then go to https://id.g2a.com/#/account-details and click Delete Account and wait for the confirmation email.

    I advise anyone to steer clear from G2A and avoid giving them your money. There's been a few threads recently on the PCMR subreddit, where they are quite vocal about this, for one instance a seller was banned and had "stricter verification" imposed on them for showing a flaw in how game keys being sold could be faked.

    e.g. Say I wanted to make a quick buck by selling a Battlefield 1 "key", I could do this by:

    Making an account and all that jazz
    Put up a key like: 1g0tu-rmon3-yn0wg-e7rek-tm4te (I got ur money now get rekt mate)
    Sell it at a low price without verification needed
    Repeat

    Another thread mentioning the same thing. Not to mention the 12-stage hoopjumping process required to simply deactivate your account.

    Even thinking about leaving their subscription service? They'll threaten to double the price if you decide to leave it then change your mind and return.

      The seller can't even withdraw the funds until 14 days after the sale. Pretty sure buyer would report the key not working in that time?

      I really wish they would implement a system so registered users could pass on a key to a registered user (randomly, first come first served, lottery - whatever), rather then posting in the open where people can grab it and run without saying thanks.
