Can you activate using driver's license rather than credit card ?
I had my number ported previously to Kogan mobile (in the new incarnation). Even though I might have received the vouchers under different emails etc… when I go to use it will the porting not work (for NEW Kogan mobile customers only)?
Can anyone in a similar situation confirm?I want give Koganmobile customer support kudos for handling my problem quickly. I activated this morning and stupid me forgot to enter the voucher code. This afternoon looking at my DC spend online, I noticed a $49.90 charge and realised my mistake.
I called them on the support line, and got through quickly after the voice menus. The rep said she would disable my account so I could do the activation again, this time remembering to use the voucher code. On their part they would process a refund to my DC.
So all good, and I even got some bonus data as I did a large download just after activation. Thanks Koganmobile!

It's good when they try to work with customers, unlike Telstra mobile where I recently had a run around and nothing was resolved. In fact, they like to blame the customers and leave it at that.

well, a warning here… don't try to port from $1 Kogan to a (free 7/11) $2 Vodafone SIM, then port back to $1 Kogan. If fails and I've been out of action since Saturday arvo!
Being a bargainer has its downside….Just trying to activate a Kogan 14GB voucher, getting this error:
"Name entered here does not match with personal details. Click on ‘Back’ to check name"
(on the credit card details page). Given I used a different spelling of my name etc. to get the voucher that's going to be impossible to line up the exact same name on CC details.. I suppose "if it's too good to be true…." "buyer beware…" etc etc etc. but has anyone got a solution?
Use the exactly same name on registration and credit card details pages. It doesn't matter if the name on your CC is different.

Grr… Can someone please help me. I have no phone access, only internet - or I'd phone Kogan. I'm trying to activate a Kogan SIM/voucher. Their site is saying the voucher I received via email is invalid, because it must be 10 digits. But the voucher code I received is only 8 digits !?
