  • Awesome price

  • awesome toothbrush

  • Would this come with a UK power plug?

    • +2

Yes. Operates on same voltage and frequency as Australia power, so you can use a simple adapter.

I had an option for a 10 pounds discount on checkout so it worked out to $161 delivered. Not as good as last time ($140 delivered) but still pretty good!

    • How many of these toothbrushes do you need?

      • You have one toothbrush for the whole family?

I bought one of these for my wife and after trying it I will end up replacing my oral-b automatic with a second one of these. They are leaps and bounds above the oral-b

        • It's not exactly out of the ordinary, the heads have little markings on them so you can identify them. So you could use one handle and a bunch of heads for each person.

  • Damn good price!!!!

  • 2 week battery life! That's pretty darn good.

  • I've heard these are great but a bit unreliable… worried about warranty with buying these overseas.. Although you can buy two from amazon for the price of one here…

    • It is international warranty!

      • Philips is pleased to offer you a 24 month exchange or repair warranty on this product within the European Union. Please contact Philips on 02079490240 (UK) or 015245443 (Ireland) for any assistance relating to the warranty, troubleshooting or hints and tips.

        Are you sure?

Another confirmation here, I have 2 and both warranty slip thingies say "International Warranty" on them.

I and to get a map coffee machine repaired and the number I called was Phillips repair centre. After sorting out the coffee machine I asked about the toothbrush I'd bought from the previous amazon deal.

The lady on the phone said it was covered via international warranty.

I wouldn't be too worried. Last week the Waterpik I bought from Amazon UK died on me. It was 6 months old. Amazon shipped out a new unit to me and I posted the faulty one back and they refunded the postage costs to send it back. Very happy with the post sale service from Amazon.

    • Gosh mine is almost 4 years old (bought March 2013) and hasn't missed a beat. And I bought mine from a Korean eBay seller. I wouldn't flinch at buying another when it wears out. As everyone writes, best toothbrush out there. 4 years on my single charge lasts me a week still of twice daily brushing. I buy replacement heads from ebay.

  • I remember hearing about this on the Hello Internet podcast (and rated very highly). Makes me want to try it just for that

  • Bought one from the last deal.
Got plenty of China to Aus adapters around the house so I jammed the UK plug into that. Connection's secure but it's obviously a little… wrong :D

  • I bought one from Amazon Uk and one locally at Harvey Norman few months ago, the Amazon one only comes with one brush head while the local Harvey Norman Stock comes with 1 extra brushead , 2 in total

But, I only manage to get the Harvey Norman Price down to similar pricing after the price match plus cash back plus TRS GST claim.

  • I ordered one. I am just wondering where do you guys buy your replacement head for this? fishpond.com.au? The model i see on there are HX60?? I am not sure if that is compatible with the one i'm buying from Amazon.

    • I buy mine from the Shavershop

  • Anyone else use this in the Shower like I do? I know on the manual it says not to but been going strong with no issues thus far. Though probably voids warranty by doing it.

It depends what you use it on.

      • My teeth?

        • What's the point of that? Are you one of those buskers that play multiple musical instruments simultaneously? Brushing with left hand while sponging with the right and adjusting the water temperature with your elbows? Is that your thing?

        • @kahn: Mom?

          Shower cam.

    • Plan on using it in the shower too. Been using my Oral B in the shower for years and no issues. Hopefully this is the same!

  • Amazon must be fishing for the other buyers who did not like the Oral B Genius 9000 deal they had a few days ago. I got it for ~AU$162 delivered. Deal is expired now but I thought I'd put it up for comparison.

  • Bought it from last deal in here about 3 weeks ago for $122 and couldn't be happier! Battery is amazing!!!

  • Mine arrived today! Charging now

  • Looks like the price had gone back up :(
