Braun MultiMix 3 Hand Mixer HM3135

Seems to serve as both a hand mixer and stick blender. 500W motor.
Includes:
* Whisks
* Dough hooks
* Blender shaft
* Chopper (500mL)
* Beaker

Seems to be pretty well reviewed, e.g. Amazon

Catalogue Special. I haven't checked to see how the other deals stack up.

Cheapest I could see elsewhere was $99. Original RRP seems to be $149. Was going to a hand mixer via the recent 20% off eBay sale, but stumbled across this which seemed a better deal.

  • Braun MultiMix 3 hand mixer

    How do we use this if we only have 2 hands?

    • Believe it is your 3rd hand
      Which in turn would make it hands free

    • No, you're reading it wrong. It can mix up to three hands.

    • Sorry it's a men-only model.

  • +2

    Can confirm this is a kickass hand mixer. I bought it at $100 3-4 years ago and been very happy with it.
    It's an absolute workhorse - the 500W is more than enough to beat/chop/knead anything.

      Can agree also. I was given one for my wedding in 2001. Unfortunately it died about a month ago. 16 years is a good run

      • I've still got my Braun from 1999, still going strong. These things are almost as essential as a toaster, kettle or microwave. I make all sorts of things from soups to milkshakes.

        Eg. I boil veges in water with a bit of stock (eg. pumpkin with chicken stock), then when the veges are soft, I use the stick mixer in the pot and turn the liquid and veges into a soup. When serving, I add thickened cream and blend again. Add garnish and you look like you know what you're doing. If you are adventurous, saute onion and garlic in the same pot before you add the water and veges.

        To clean a stick mixer, put the stick mixer attachment in water and turn it on. Then a give a light wash with soapy water and rinse. It's about the easiest appliance to clean.

  • Thanks man for the post, she really wanted this model! Was going to buy it at original price! But got a bargain thanks to you!! =D

  • Is this better than the cuisinart hand mixers?
