A big discount on very comfortable shoes, they 'were' $169.

EDIT: Sold out but some sizes still available from DC shoes but with minimum $50 free delivery otherwise $5.95 shipping.

The style might not suit everyone but a very good price and perhaps can be combined with current eBay vouchers.

is the size AU or US?

    • Good question… I presumed US, when I've ordered shoes from them direct in the past (www.dcshoes.com.au) it was US, and other online stores have used their US sizing.

do your DC shoes fit as expected?

        • +1

I have wide feet, and they fit great for them. I but a US 11 in DC, Globe, Adidas… and they are spot on.

      • +3

Never knew Americans have different feet… we really need to ask what's wrong with the world when shoe sizes can't be standard and we have 8 billion feet.

    • +1

      The info on the eBay listing says - 10 - 10.5 (45), 11 - 11.5 (46), 12 - 12.5 (47)
The AU 10.5 is an EU 45 on DC website -https://www.dcshoes.com.au/sizing-charts so maybe it's AU size.

According to one neg review "American shoe sizing needs to be more prominent"

That's just poor attention to detail. Not that hard to specify whether US or AU.

It's a good deal but I can't be bothered fluffing around with potentially incorrect sizing. They don't offer free returns do they?

***EDIT**** - Just called them up and confirmed it's US SIZING.

    • They offer free returns on Full Priced items by the look of it… so these being heavily reduced, most likely not.
But I agree, a lot of fluffing around, I just sent them a eBay message stating I ordered under intention of US sizing.

30 day return on marked down items it seems

        • +1

Must admit I quickly skimmed through but it looked like return shipping would be at the customer's expense. I could be wrong.

        • @gimme: PayPal free returns should cover it

        • @shonofear:
Thanks for tip if need to return

    • great work Gimme. Taking that extra step to end confusion.

    • Thanks gimme! I just assumed US sizing without thinking.

    Thanks OP - got one.

  • UK sizes should be adopted worlwide. I find everything else annoying.

thanks got one, nice casual work shoe

  • got one too, I order size 10, as same as my nike 10?

    • Not sure on this particular model but my other DC unilite shoes were true to size for size 9. Also probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I owned but they had a mesh upper so were basically weightless.

Not sure if i need it, but buying anyways cause cant think after a early start…

Thanks OP purchased, hoping the sizing is in US otherwise they will be too big for my small feet .

    • A user(gimme) rang them earlier and confirmed it's US so you're good!

  • Good work OP, got one :)

haha More than 72 sold in 1 hour. OZB members strike again! https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/103022/46539/obstrikes…

    • There was less than 10 bought when I posted(over the span of a week) and now there is 170! (and still only 40 +s)

    Got size 11 via https://www.dcshoes.com.au/mens-player-zero-shoe-adys600002
After eBay showed 'out of stock'

    • That's where I found it originally but without free postage.(Unless you buy more than $50)

great find mate - thanks for the heads up on the deal.
I think i got last pair of 11's (as I wanted 2, to get free shipping), but could only choose 1 pair.
Oh well, i needed some newies, so still happy.

  • Damn, if US sizing then gonna be too small!!

    • Yep, it's US sorry. Better cancel quickly.

    • Yeah i have been burnt by online shoe sizing before.

Have current US 10 that fit perfectly, and asked chat rep on particular online site if their Vans US 10's would be same physical size. He agreed, so I splashed out and got few pairs. Ended up with "US 10" that do not fit, too small by a margin big enough for them to be unwearable - felt a bit ripped off, as I only purchased those sizes on their advice. Store would not acknowledge their own refund T&C, now stuck with shoes that were never going to fit :(

I hope you have better luck with yours … I got 11s this time from DC. Fingers crossed….

    • Because all the bad people get good things?

  • Managed to get a pair while the going was good. Hope they are wide enough because the pics make it look like it has a pretty narrow sole.

They only seemed to have a few pairs of each size so they were sold out pretty quick.

    • +1

I hope so to! I have wide feet and the pair of DC unilites I had fitted quite well but it had a mesh upper so more give but the sole was wide enough. In the video it seems to be pretty wide in comparison to some of the New Balances etc

Sizing aside I have to admit these guys have really solid customer service.

Call picked up within 30secs and competent CS agent.
I had also sent them an ebay msg which they responded within 2hrs (confirmed US sizing)
Item already sent and tracking supplied.

Can't really ask for much more.

    • Yep, mines already shipped.

    • Due for delivery today - <48 hours later! how good is that!?

  • Just received an email that the shoes I purchased were out of stock & refund provided….

  • Funny thing about dc and globe these days is the rubber they use, I'm convinced they sell shoes they know won't last.

    In other words planned obsolescence.

    • For $35 I can probably live with that :) I have shoes from 10yrs ago that my Mrs is desperate for me to get rid off. I"m sure she'd be happy with some planned obsolescence.

  • I like DC shoes for their comfort/looks, but they do fall apart pretty quickly. Last pair lasted 10 months before a hole formed around the front of the shoe.

    • 10 months is decent these days tbh. i usually do 1 year, max. but then again i dont wash/care for my shoes.

  • DOH - email advising full refund due to 'Inventory error' :(
    Better luck next time!
