      By hinting it may contain Vegemite, they avoid paying for use of brand name while attracting lovers of Vegemite. Usually not a good sign, its homebrand ice cream, & some reviews say to avoid.

    I found it ok.. in very very small doses. Though it's the only ice cream to ever remain in the freezer here for months on end if that's a good indication of what it is.

    I had the unfortunate experience of tasting this once. Should have been suspicious when they started selling it for $2.00 a tub at my local Woolies. I though I loved all types and flavours of ice cream - until I tasted this. Then it went straight down the sink.
    Believe me; this is something you should be paid to eat, not something you should go out and buy.

    Being a tightarse like yourselves, I bought it when it was reduced to $2. I stupidly didn't clue onto the mite part in the title. Why on earth would you mix savoury with sweet? You don't put vegemite on your peanut butter sandwich so why put it in ice cream. Cocaine has a lot to answer for when it comes to some of these board room green lights. The only way to eat is is by smearing the woollies spreadable caramel over it. That stuff is yum o.

    Has anyone here tried Cadbury's Vegemite chocolate? I only ever saw it once in a large display in Coles at Greenhills NSW. The very concept appalled me, but I expected to see it again at a greatly reduced price.

      It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't exactly nice. Surprisingly, the thing that I didn't like most was the chocolate being room temperature, I like my choc frozen

      I really liked the vegemite chocolate. I wish they'd bring it back but it's unlikely as the thought repulsed most people.

      I'm pretty sure that chocolate is what inspired this icecream, as the icecream came out shortly after the chocolate did. I liked the chocolate and found it was about 50/50 with people I asked about it. It seems the icecream is about 1/99 judging from the comments here.

    Got 2 tubs. Thoroughly enjoyed the taste. Much more tame than I expected it to be. I was kinda hoping for something a lot weirder in taste.
