      I love my Paperwhite. The screen is nice and crisp, good response time and the backlight is great. Plus you can't beat that wicked battery life, even with the backlight on 100% brightness.

    Think this reduction is in response to Big W selling at the same price. I got a pricematch at OW with the 5% further off, so cost me $151.05.

    By all accounts it's a great tablet, reviews indicate it's much better than the basic model (which is $109). Got it for my OH so can't say how good it is yet as I'm yet to have a play.

      I have an original Kindle, Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display how is this one any better? Worth an upgrade and give the old one away?

        That's the post from tightarse detailing where to find the LOVE codes in your ebay account. They were targeted codes, so not everyone got one.

        As for the Kindle, it is the latest paperwhite. Can't tell you from experience, as I only ordered mine from BigW a couple of days ago, but the reports seem to be very good, especially because it is a lit display, so you can read without an external light.

        Just sign up at https://www.cashrewards.com.au/ and then remember to go to this site to click on the eBay link (which re-directs you to the eBay site) and then just shop as normal . The discounts on eBay are not as good as they used to be but better than nothing. Also works for a bunch of other sites/stores. You just need to remember to click on the links at the cash rewards site first before buying to get the cashback (I still end up forgetting to do this half of the time)

          Install the Cashrewards Chrome extension, it reminds you to click the referral link whenever you visit one of the partnered sites.

          I used to forget all the time until I installed it.

    I follow the above process and did see the LOVE20 code and click the link to make the purchase, but the discount does not apply, keep saying error after I apply the code at the paypal check out. No luck !

    How does Kindle go with PDFs? I'm not a fan buying things to use once (is why libraries are a thing)
    Also legitimate digital copies of textbooks etc

      It wouldn't suit your purpose without being annoying to use. Pdfs are easier on a laptop than a Kindle IMHO.

      Only the code given to you by eBay will work. It looks like you only got the love10 code which is also what happened to me.

    Confirmed that my LOVE20 worked for me. I actually bought one in store for $159 the other day (they dropped the price to match Big W's price, so no 5% off), but haven't opened yet and they accept returns for change of mind… so, I've changed my mind, I want the cheaper one :D
