      Black Power Banks Matter

  • Silverist

  • If you are only buying 1 for $26.62 shipped then it's cheaper regular price $26.23 shipped at BangGood. Their recent flash sale price of $24.73 shipped ended a couple days back.

This shipping may be quicker though, 7-15 business days vs 7-25 business days.

These guys sell products without any stock, so you'll probably have to wait for the factory to make them before they even send it to you.

Still waiting on a delivery from 3 weeks ago which they sold as in stock and paid for express DHL delivery and still hasn't even been shipped yet.

    I'd avoid.

  • I'm trying to decide if I should get a power bank 2 or pro.

    From what I can gather:

    • Pro is slimmer
    • Pro has type-c input and type-a to type-c output
    • 2 does not have type-c input

Can the power bank 2 still charge devices with type-c and micro USB as long as I have the cable to connect back to the power bank type a port?

    • Yes a Type-A to Type-C cable will let you charge (slower).

If you need more than 2.4A @ 5V, then look at the pro (2).

Otherwise, just get a powerbank 2.

If you want something that can do more than that, that is type c, then this is a good option:

      http://m.banggood.com/ZMI-QB820-20000mAh-Quick-Charge-2_0-Po…

Up to 40W output over USB-C PD. 45W input.

      • Thanks for answer futaris.

Looks like I'll just wait for the next power bank 2 or pro bargain.

Seems like pro would be a bonus but 2 would be sufficient for most uses.

      • I thought powerbank 2 was QC 2.0. So it should do more than 5V.

        • USB Type-C should always use PD.

There are some devices that use QC 3.0, but they are going against Google's recommendations.

I have the older Xiaomi one that is 10400mAh that weighs about as much as a house, or at least a brick!

Time to upgrade me thinks, with one of these, but as hamza23 said, it's $26.23 normal price at BangGood

Plus, I can redeem some BG points for a discount.

My last two orders from Gearbest have not arrived and I've had to fight for a refund. I'd suggest finding a deal somewhere else.

Need a local seller to offer a deal :)
