Jaybird X3 Sport Bluetooth Headphones AU $140.88 (White) Delivered @ FutureGear eBay

230

Was looking for a decent pair of earphones for the gym and daily commute.

Seems like a pretty good price for these - cheapest price ever posted on here and best I could find.
Looks like an NZ company with good reviews.

Currently 15% off = $127.48
Shipping is $13.40 to Melbourne.. seems like the same for other parts around the country.

These are $199 at JB HiFi

These also support Multipoint bluetooth:
Simultaneously pair and connect your buds with two different Bluetooth devices. Listen to music from your laptop and answer a call from your cell phone – hands-free no worries. Your wireless, multi-tasking crazy world just got a whole lot better.

Update: Black now sold out. Updated to white version. Still a great deal.

Someone chime in if these are worth it at this price.

I'm using one and they're really good for the price. I paid $185 @ JB 2 weeks ago. :(

      • Very worth it, great headphones. I paid $150 at JB (asked them to match Amazon) then I cancelled my Amazon order.

Sounds like JB have some room to move on these :)

        • I couldn't even get the hopeless mob at my JB to price-match Umart…

Wish I hadn't missed this deal.

        • @O15:

You in Perth? Could tell you where to go and who to speak too.

        • @hoxygt:
Opposite side of the country. :\

          Thank you, though.

  • These seem way too cheap for the price, makes me wonder if they're genuine…

Anyways I have a $20 code for eBay from Valentine's Day so I'm just going to buy the white pair for $120, worse case if it isn't genuine I'll sort it out with Paypal.

Would've gone black but I've ordered grey Beatsx which come in early March, so just need something temporary.

I just checked my PayPal payment for the purchase and the company is PB Technologies which is a large company in NZ. Looks like they have setup an Australian company for their ebay account.

They are reputable and well known in NZ. I highly doubt they are fakes.

Here it is on their website - https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HSTJBD3532399/Jaybird-X3-Sp…

Definitely a very good price. After conversion, the price is right.

last one sold, just as I tried to get it. Oh well, good luck to those that got in quick.

Great price - White (Sparta) still available - black gone.

  • thanks, got the white ones for $130 delivered (love10 code). hopefully it's legit :)

  • A few months ago I bought an X2 from ebay for $125. Unfortunately was a fake (bad connectivity, questionable sound quality). Got a refund at least.

    • Can you tell if they are fake from the packaging? Build?
Did you buy it from this seller?

It was from a different ebay store. That's the response I got from Jaybird support:

If the numbers on the cable from left to right start with FCC, then it is indeed a counterfeit. Also, when you put them in to pairing mode, you will notice a british accent and she'll say "pairing".

Normally it would be an american accent and will say " searching for your music device". I would suggest returning them to ebay for a refund.

We cannot help with the warranty on any product purchased from ebay.

  • thanks mate, good find OP

  • Last one! Get in quick!

    Update: Gone!

  • Should have bought these instead of the rubbish Plantronics Backbeat Go 3. Word of warning to people planning to buy the BBG3 - It is pathetic in sound quality and has almost no bass at all. I've had better $20 China Headphones than this and even wrote an email to Plantronics to complain about it (I dont normally do that either).

Repeat - do not purchase the Plantronics BackBeat Go 3..

  • They are back in stock

    Edit: in both colours

  • Back in stock but price has been upped from $127.48 to $134.98, meaning it is now $148.38 Delivered

    • Still about as good as it gets - Amazon delivered we're about $142 for me but the order sat there for 4 days and wasn't filled so I canned it and went to JB!

  • Just did a ebay buy this morning with code love10 (-10AUD) total 130AUD for the Black model.

  • Anyone who bought these on the day received any word if it has been shipped? A lot of the reviews on eBay say that the seller is slow with posting.

    • i've havent got word yet (ordered on 19th) but i have messaged the seller hoping to get a reply soon.

      • Still waiting been a couple of days now …

        • Me too.

Pretty sure they are just slow, probably manual so hope they've shipped and not updated the status yet..

  • I found and paid for these on the 18th, should have received them by today the 24th, had to send the seller a message, not looking good.

    • I'm sure all of us are in the same boat, look at the seller's reviews, a lot of negatives about crap communication and delays.

If I don't receive it by March I'm just gonna cancel..pathetic.. and it's not like they are inactive, after the initial batch got sold out they got relisted and marked up so they are clearly active.

      • I usually do look at sellers reviews but this one time didnt, probably cause the price was good i got shoppers excitement, lol, now theyve been sent im crossing fingers they arent fakes.

  • Sent the seller a message and received an ebay email stating it was posted on Friday 24th through Auspost. Bit slow on the draw, but so long as they arrive (and are legit) it's all good :)

    • I too got a sent notification but no actual response from the seller to my message, must of put the wind up them to send at least, though now im worried they'll turn up fakes.

  • Received shipping confirmation yesterday.

  • Looks like mines scheduled to be delivered tomorrow via AusPost.

  • +1

Mine were delivered this morning, genuine product and awesome!

    • +1

      Mine too!

  • Could not deliver mine due to no stock - no waiting for refund

  • Is anyone else getting terrible battery life for these? I'm only getting 3 hours on 50% volume before they go flat. Seems either defective or a fake…
