Did any one else sign up to the "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 32GB $59/Month + 3GB + UNLIMITED CALLS/SMS (24 Months) @ Woolworths" offer last August AND get the $50 Rewards or Gift Card?

When I signed up, the Woolworths webpage indicated for a Medium Plan you would get a $50 Gift Card. They did send me a Rewards Card but there was no credit on it so I rang and they said you have to wait 2 Billing cycles before you would get credit. I waited, still no credit. I have since rang 3 or 4 times and now always get this response, we'll get back to you …
Finally today I was told by the customer service rep. that because I was on the discounted plan I was not entitled to the $50 Gift Card.
So did anyone else here get a gift card after signing up to the "discounted" plan?
Seems a bit dodgey given it took several calls before they gave me a reason why, and now the offer is no longer adevrtised I have no evidence it ever was an offer …
