  • Hey OP, when the rubber wears out what type of refills do these take?

  • The rubber refill cannot be replaced as the they are integrated into the overall structure of the wiper blade itself.

The 1-year warranty covers wear and tear so if you have any issues we'll replace the wiper blades at no cost to you.

Okay, so what kind of lifespan do you normally get with your blades? Your web site doesn't make that very clear. If you're expecting people to pay an average of $20-$30 per blade you'd definitely want them to last much longer than one year.

      • I got the repco onnes similar to these and they were great for about 6 months then went back to the same as the original went. Just buy the silicon replacements any auto shop sell for around $10.

Lifespan depends on a number of factors including the amount of usage, UV exposure and how clean you keep your windscreen and blades.

If looked after properly you can generally expect to get 2-3 years out of them.

Thanks for the feedback in relation to the website.

If you can get 2-3 years out of them then that's much better economy. I still have the original blades on my Getz and I'm having to replace the refills at least every 12 months, sometimes sooner depending on usage (and whether I could only get the crappy plastic-backed ones). That means ~$15-$20 for decent refills each time, maybe a bit less if I score them on sale. So, I can see that value of yours now. Got any specials coming up for the Getz?

        • Getz owner here also. I'd be interested in a deal on a kit too!

  • Any deals for VE wagon ?

  • I bought a pair of these for my Mondeo a year before I sold it. By the time I sold it, they were still very very good. I was very happy with their performance the entire time I had them.

I bought them for around $50 a pair and I don't remember if I had a discount on them or not. They were certainly cheaper than the ones Ford wanted to sell me.

These are the fancy 'flex' type blades that don't have a frame.

Anyway, for $19 it seems like a pretty good bargain IF you're after these special flex type blades either because of preference or because it matches original equipment. OTOH, if my car had standard wipers with frames, I reckon I'd just get silicone refills.

  • Thanks op just what i was looking for unsuccessfully over the weekend.

    • For anyone who is interested to know, the wipers turned out fine. They arrived via Auspost and were easy to install do-it-yourself style. Now the windshield is once again squeaky clean.

  • Hey OP,
I'm looking for front screen wiper for my 2012 Hatchback Yaris. Will you have any in stock soon?
