$350 on a catalogue of items

Hi all,

Long story short… I have 350 award tokens from my place of employment. Each reward token = approx $1.

Catch is, you must buy from a acatalogue of items, but the catalogue is like 200 pages. it has everything, mostly all branded stuff.

I'm a 21 year old uni student, male. I really don't need anything.

What would YOU buy? Do you have any recommendations for ME? I don't need cameras, headphones, suitcases, phones, mp3's, soundbar's etc. I just don't know what to get and my points expire soon!!!

Thanks

    Everyone's Christmas presents!

Or just something Apple branded and sell it for ~90% of it's RRP, since people like paying for Apple

    • I'm actually consdering buying birthday presents now for close family…then I'll just store them for later! hahaha

In my employers rewards program we can buy gift vouchers. The value of points isn't quite as high with vouchers but it opens up options a lot more. Is this an option for you?

    • Yes, it is. But the gift vouchers are for Myers/David jobes/rebel sports/events cinemas…alll of which I don't use.

  • gift vouchers if possible.

what about things like coffee machie, kitchen stuff, blankets, doonas, towels… (unless you are still with parents)

    • still with parents! :/

        got me then.

well, they haven't cost you anything so why not get things for your parents, new dinner service, good sheets for their bed, something like that.

          @unistudent1:
          Yes, yes I am.

but I get a similar deal to what you have at work. Once bought headphone for our son, another time $1000 of JB hifi vouchers to buy a coffee machine (cheaper than the machine in the catalogue)

So no vouchers at all?, not even movie vouchers.

nothing you might want when you move out of home? Pots and pans dont go bad in storage.

I actually looked into vouchers since you mentioned it.

I can get a woolies voucher…which I'll definitely use. Might just go with that :)

    • nothing wrong with getting food (can you get alcohol as well with them?)

    • Perfect for a uni student. $350 of 2 minute noodles from Woolies :)
