  Thanks so much for your question. It is a FAQ.

  You probably haven't dealed with a crawler yet :) These shoes and sandals are made of soft sole, so not much different than socks as an example, but much more durable.

  It is common to use some sort of protection for babies starting from 6 months to keep their tiny feet warm and clean. Moreover soft sole helps them feel the ground and improve their motor skills and balance.
