PO Boxes relocation & contract?

Hello,

With PO boxes, if you sign up to one for 12 months and change address, can one relocate to the next nearest PO or does one have to cancel their existing contract?

Also is there a best time to begin a contract?

I can't anything in their t&cs regarding it,

Thanks!

  • Also is there a best time to being a contract?

What do you mean by this?

    • promotions? sales? buy 11 months get one free?

      • OK. I wouldn't imagine a public service thing such as a postal box would have much in the way of promotions.

  • PO rental periods start 1 April each year as explained here
    under "Fees and Invoicing".

      April fools, how fitting

  • From memory, we changed it to our closest no problems but may have had to pay for redirections for a few weeks (obviously the PO Box number will change)

    • Yes - but business mail redirections are rediculously expensive.

It is cheaper to keep 2 poboxes for a year, and check the old one less frequently.

depends if there's one available to rent. Otherwise you'll be put on a waiting list.

  • You cannot transfer, you'll need to get a new PO Box at the new area. Availability will be the issue.

    • So you'll nee to change on address to the new PO Box… seems a bit silly and defeat the purpose?
