    Arma gettin this

Anyone know if there still servers for the Arma 2 DayZ mod?

    • +2

Yup, servers are still going strong. Also check out EpochMod.com - Think DayZ but with NPC traders.

Looks like it got pretty quiet there for a while after DayZ standalone came out.

      • +1

The Arma 2 mods are still better than DayZ standalone in my opinion. DayZ standalone is still a steaming pile of shit.

        • I tried it again this month and it has improved, but you're right it's still got a long way to go.
At least the zombies now actually work.

  • Already own these… Bugger. Anyway, they're pretty decent Military simulation games (if a bit buggy at times), and you'll need a pretty decent PC to let Arma 3 shine. Mod community is half decent too.

  • Already have the first 2 with all DLC, but have been waiting for an Arma 3 and Karts DLC is a go at $19.50. Thanks for the heads up.

Are they delivered as separate keys?

I would really like to get Arma3 for me but give my Arma 2 + OA to a friend so we can play DayZ together, and this would be awesome for that if so.

    • Thinking the same thing mate. Pretty sure all content would be given as separate keys. Just trying to clear the funds with the wife to find out. LOL

    • +2

OK, just purchased and all items are separate keys. Enjoy!

      • Awesome news, thanks!

  • Are these games any good?

    • I can only vouch for Arma 3 (with all DLCs) but it's great fun, with lots of variation .. its the next level above Battlefield as in a proper military sim. with a wide range of weapons/vehicles and roles you can play. Play single or online campaigns with others in mass maps, King of the Hill (team vs team vs team - my fav), Exile (zombie/survival), Altis Life (rpg) and more. Word of advise, take your time to learn the controls/weapons and tactics. Enjoy!

Not worth it anymore. $12.70 now for the arma 2 games can easily get them for $2 every second month on steam

    • +3

The $15 package includes ARMA 3. So of course bargain hunters are going to go for that which pushes up the average price of the ARMA 2 pack.

    • Agree that the second tier isn't that exciting if your goal is just to get Arma 2. But Arma Gold is still pretty great for a dollar if you can handle dated games. And the $15 tier is the cheapest Arma 3 has been.

  • Thanks kamoi.
Have been waiting to get arma3.
    This is is great deal.

  • Can you use guns on Arma3 Karts?

  • Expired?

    • Nevermind - was looking at steam price for some reason ;)
