$14 Logan Movie at Burwood NSW Event Cinema (VMAX Only) - Online Booking Fee Applied

70

I know $14 isn't a bargain if you get vouchers from somewhere else. But for those just want to get it quick and fast, this is probably a decent deal.

Just saw the offer when i clicked into Burwood cinema, Logan movie selected. It says "Burwood Cinebuzz Offer" $14 (plus an online booking fee). fine print says: "must show cinebuzz card" - I dont think you need that if you're logged in and purchased it with your account anyways.

Tried other cinemas I don't see the special offer. I guess only in Burwood. Tried a few days as well, I think offer ended on Wed 8th of March. That's exactly a week after the launch. Not GC, Not normal session, only Vmax.

Plus they are running a comp now - "To celebrate the release of Logan, starring Australia’s very own Hugh Jackman returning to his iconic role as Wolverine for the final time ever, we're giving you the chance to WIN* 1 of 25 ‘Money Can’t Buy’ Limited Edition Wolverine Prop Replica Claws!" - see website for details.'

Enjoy the movie!

  • Booking fee was $2.50 for me for 2x Adult :(

    • opps, i'll update that.

  • +1

Well the Hoyts cinevoucher tickets are now $14. Plus 1.20 booking fee, plus 3.50 for a fee that I'm not sure of.

On top of that the tickets are not usable on weekends after 2pm.

    Normal adult price is $25.

    So this deal is ok.

  • Is a 14 year old too immature to watch this?

I almost took my son to Deadpool when he was 12.

    • Haven't seen the film but the review in The Age today said it was pretty brutal. Multiple people get hacked and cut up. It was rated R in America, which I think sort of aligns to our MA rating.

    • +1

I think people underestimate how much kids have already seen when they're in junior high school. The internet really means that nothing is hard to find.

I'd suggest they'll be totally fine. And if you make sure to stress that you're letting them see it because you trust they're mature they'll strive to prove it.

    • I saw it in a preview screening last night, it is really violent - but it is fast-paced so you don't really have time to process it.

It's more violent than Deadpool imo. In saying that I really enjoyed the movie

  • "The" Wolverine , the movie set mainly in Japan was pretty brutal but the others are more cartoon violence. Deadpool was violent but also had a too much tits and arse.
Commonsense media are saying 14+ … Maybe Jnr has to sit this one out.
