Worried about a Watch Purchase Made via a Facebook Ad

Hi Ozbargain,

I think I need to be less impulsive when I see a bargain. This ad appeared on my feed: Free Watches
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=385137828528392&…

I checked the comments section, it appeared to be legit. So because I'm a silly person I immediately ordered two watches and paid for shipping, using PayPal. Total was $25AUD. Goods to arrive between 7-25 working days.

Not 2 minutes after I get a confirmation email of my order, I see this ad: Free Watches
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1888539804711204…
Different company, same watches. Oh no.

Scroll down even further to this ad: Free Watches
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1459983734020664…
And now I'm certain I've fxcked up.

I entered my home address, email and mobile number to this mob, how much danger am I in?
Should I cancel my order immediately?
What other personal information can they get from me?

(Sorry for poor formatting, I'm on mobile)

UPDATE:
The watches took ages to arrive (as long as Gearbest and Banggood take anyway), and when they did the battery only lasted about a week before they both died. I remember because I only got to show them off one time haha. I wont be participating in any of those 'offers' in the future.

Mod: Changed title for clarity

    • Yes I did, the vendor name is KAMOZI MARKETING LTD. I googled and its apparently an Irish owned company?

Sounds like you just paid someone to dropship you cheap watches from China

        • If that's all it ends up being then I'm ok with that, lesson learnt.

But if I get unlimited spam to my email or mobile, or if there is a hidden cost then I'll be upset.

You just paid too much in shipping basically you overpaid for a shit watch

So you won't lose your money as such, you just won't be getting much for it :P

    • Argh dammit, I didn't even think to search for the store in Ozbargain.

From Reddit re:Facebook Watch Scam Ads….. "These free watch things seem to be the new thing now. FYI these companies make their money off shipping. While being 'FREE', bear in mind these watches are coming from China being sent via the heavily subsidised Chinese postal system where they will still make money"

    • Another source I should have looked up before buying. I've had a long week…

Since the sale item was free, you can't claim anything back from PayPal if you have any issues.

It happens to all of us. At least you aren't engaged to a Nigerian prince.
