That's a pretty good price for the U Ultra

  • First to annoy: no b28?

    • +1

Sorry, these devices disappointed you with the presence of b28.

      • Asked since someone else always does.

Just got my Xiaomi Mi Max 128gb last week $368, has no b28. Works fine on Telstra, get 4G everywhere I go in VIC and 4G+ in CBD. 6.44 inch phone definitely takes getting used to. Love it though.

OP, you appear to really like this device. Why don't you go ahead and state the battery spec or that it is missing a headphone jack (even though it's a huge device)? Muahahahaha

Take it easy mate, he just cut and pasted the description.
Yeah it's got some short falls, but there's no perfect phone out there.

Superforever, both your posts read like advertisements. I don't think that's your intent. You don't explain how they're a bargain.

This is is an example of a good post on the current Kogan / DSE deals - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/297365. Let the vendor deliver the corporate spiel & device specifications.

    :)

ozbargainers should know which is good and which is bad bargain by just looking at the price. :p

    • Posting advice from someone that hasn't posted a single deal in the 6 years that they've been a member of Ozbargain?

  • I was considering the U Ultra… But no headphone jack kinda kills it. And even though capable, we don't have usb-c to usb-c+3.5mm converters out yet…

And im rather afraid of grey imported LGs even though the V20 doesn't boot loop in any substantial numbers according to reports…

    • Havent seen any reports on bootloops on v20..
Hows the warranty work if bought through Kogan?

Can someone confirm which model LV20 it is?. My understanding is the dual sim is 4g/3G on this phone. the ad says 4g/2g?

  • MBKHD doesn't recommend the phone…

I'm going to wait for the S8 and V30

    • Doesn't mean you have to think the same as MBKHD (or any other reviewer).
Nowadays people rely so much on reviewers, but honestly many are biased. Just go try a phone out (if you can) and see if you like it or not.

        MBK makes good points…

The phone isn't water resistant, the battery is smaller than any comparably sized phone, there's no headphone jack, there's light bleed at the corner of the screen (top left corner)…

Im not saying it's a bad phone but it is very overpriced for the compromises it makes…
