  Interested in some smart scales.
  One review i read said that this will not work as a smart scale unless you also have a Mi Band.

    no, you don't need it.
    it was bit tricky to make it work with Healthkit. I had turn everything on for mi fit app.

  These look like they only measure body weight? - other smart scales measure a lot more (whether accurately or not..)

  I bought one off ebay for $59 last week. Very easy to set up using the MiFit app. Great looking scale, nice glass top, accurate and works well. It does require bluetooth to sync the stats, BUT you can weigh yourself many times and then turn on your bluetooth and it will sync your last weigh ins. Also very easy to setup additional people, recognises them and also syncs them to the same app you set them up on.

      It came 2 days after i ordered it. It looks like the price has gone up from the $59 i paid though. :(
