Need a good spec - durable smartphone

Hello,

I'm looking for a durable, good specs smartphone.
My current phone is a grey-market Motorola Droid Turbo, which I bought almost two years ago with the price of around AU$450 (refurbished). That phone survived many more-than-1-meter hard-surface drops, have quite good spec, and convenient to use. However, I've done some stupid on it this morning, and its glass is cracked. Along with some other issues, it won't last long.

Could you please give some suggestions?
Dual SIMs is a must for me, otherwise I'll buy another Droid Turbo.

Thanks for your time.

Have a good weekend, OZ-Bargainers.

  • There is a smash-proof Droid, called Moto X force XT1580.

    It's water resistant too.

It sells for $400 ish local or $350 grey import

Moto will replace the Shattershield (first time only) free of charge. However this phone is actually discontinued and some people report not being able to get replacements.

    • Thanks.
May I have a second choice as well :) ?
I'm reading its specs and reviews now.

    • And I could not find the dual Sims version

  • lg v20.

http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-V20-Dual-SIM-64GB-4G-H990ds-Tita… <<< this one is priced at $659, while the one at DickSmith is $821. Is there any crucial difference?

      • no idea.
we bought an australian one at JB hifi. I am guessing there are different models so make sure it works in Aust.

      • Nah get this one
After using the voucher CYBER it comes to $639.20.

Your link is most likely trying to match the price of the Cyber discounts since it's also about 20% off.

        • Your link is from a new store, with only 3 votes. Is it trustworthy?

    • Be aware of V20 boot loop problems

      • Had one since they were released and no fault.
Your links is for completely different phones.

  • China droids have some reasonably cheap IP68 Rugged phones.

    Nomu S10 review. Approx AUD$150.

HomTom H20 looks good too @ same price point.
