Gearbest birthday competition entries

The Gearbest rep asked for competition ideas for their 3rd birthday in one of their bargain posts. I suggested a photo and limerick or other amusing poem comp. It was posted here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/297200

Entries were to be posted as comments in the competition listing in the comps section of ozbargain. So far there have been no comments/entries. Why do you think this is?

At the moment, the first three entries will share the prizes. I know some people have had trouble with postage, but there are also plenty of us that have successfully bought products.

I'm interested to know your thoughts?

    Because people don't like creative answer entries, generally.

    Having to upload pics maybe?

    And also the stuff you have for prizes are good but it has to be something exciting

    That's a lot of effort for items that don't have that much appeal.

    Only bought 2 things and that was in 2014 and 2015, and combined total is AU$0.14… so those items are long gone lol
