      The tabs that actually hold the cable in tend to flatten over time, and it gets to the point where they just slide in and out of your phone without a noticeable click. Don't have any of their cables anymore but in the past thread, someone suggested getting a pin underneath the tabs and lifting them would work as a fix.

    I always recommend these Sony cables. Have two of the EC803's, one that came with my Xperia Z a couple of years ago, and they are really tough -both the cable and connector.

  Scandalous? Last only less than a week? Exaggeration to the max! Well, I've got same cables, being used daily non stop by multiple android phones and tablets, still going strong and fast charging. I'd buy some more. I only use tronsmart and blitzwolf cables.

    I've bought a couple of the Tronsmart six pack micro USB over the years. Out of the twelve cables in total, only one cable is still in use. They either fail completely or you need to jiggle the micro USB end to get your phone to recognise it and start charging. Perhaps it's an issue with my devices, but I have no confidence in Tronsmart.

    I've got a couple of the braided reversible Blitzwolf cables though, and they're absolutely brilliant. The only issue is over time, there are permanent bulges created along the line because you inadvertently keep twisting them.

      +-ing for the tronsmart comment as I've had the same experience. The microusb plug becomes loose/wobbly as donnot has stated above.

      Blitzwolf, I've read from other users that they have had the same experience.

      Anker though, can't ever go wrong.
