Are these the ones that spontaneously ignite?

I was actually given one of these to replace my 'firey' one last year…

My old one had been 'fixed' with a bag and some electrical tape but Samsung found there were still a few failures even after that.

So far so good with this one (and my old one had no signs of singing - I opened it up to check before surrendering it). I get the feeling you had to get the control panel very wet to actually have issues.

The intverter motor certainly helps with noise and vibration - it seems to do a decent job.

The last model to spontaneously ignite was made in 2013. New models should be fine…

Really? What about the fires and explosions in Samsung washing machines in the US? One blew a hole through a wall.

If you buy or own a Samsung washing machine make sure you have insurance, smoke alarms and a copy of anything valuable. I would never buy a Samsung appliance, all they care about are features and not function, reliability or safety.

I've had mine for must be over 10 years now, best washing machine I've ever owned TBH.

I don't know, however Samsung cars should be good, since they have good experience in internal combustion

With Samsung products it's hit and miss as to what will explode and burn you, your vehicle, your plane or your house.

They have similar problems with appliances in the US recently so clearly Samsung are too stupid to learn or most likely they don't care.

I'm just worried the North Koreans will smuggle heaps of Samsung Galaxy Note 7's out of the South Korean factories, put 'em in Samsung washing machines and strap them to their long range missiles. I hope Trump can protect us from that Nuclear combo. Probably hear about it on Breitbart News real soon.

Why do you think North Korea is so active in testing at the moment? They picked up all the stock of Samsung exploding phones, washing machines and other products and are turning them into missiles. Note 7 is the brains and the detonator, the washing machine the propulsion and the payload is the waste from the Samsung "test" labs (also called the consumer).

I'm just glad the plot to detonate all the note 7's in the air backfired when they started going off early.

Nothing wrong with these. As mentioned above, the fire issues were with machines up until around 2013. Re: those who mention the fire thing, how many of you drive Fords? Pintos caught fire in the 70s (after being run up the arse), today Rangers, Everests and Kugas are spontaneously catching fire. Just sayin'…
