Don't rely on the old reviews from when Google's Find My was first released. It has improved since then.

I've been a Tile owner for years and whilst they work (for the most part) they've never dazzled me and have failed at times of need. I have the older versions and the pro versions so all are battery changeable but they always need replacing within 12 months, by the time they tell you they're low you had better not lose anything more than 3 feet from you.
Problem is I'm a Pixel owner, so these will be next to useless without the Samsung Galaxy to match, right? Probably stuck with Tile for a bit longer.
You can use utag from github to make these work with any android phone.
Yeah I'm also a tile owner and have been wondering about upgrading to these. Not sure if its a step up or not..
If you have a Samsung phone then don't think so much.
I have ditched Tile as soon as it's non changeable battery ran out, and this is heaps better.
The tiles I have do have replaceable batteries though,
@nedski: To put some perspective, from my use this is like 3 times more trackable than Tile, probably a lot more user base than the miserable Tile.

Nag Samsung is better if you got a Samsung.
Keyring design is better too. $20 each is as good as it gets.
