Broke my phone need a really cheap one urgently!

EDIT 29/03 : So girls and guys, I've been to some repair stores and they're all charging me +/- 300$ to get my screen replaced ! So first question : Is there cheaper places in Melbourne that you mignt know of ?
And second one : Also I REALLLLYYYYY LOVE that phone, I'm wondering if I might be better off buying a more recent phone for the same price ? Surely there are more powerful phones in the market now… What do you think ? All advices taken !

Hi girls and guys, FML but after my car it's my phone ! My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was dropped by a ghost into the toilet, it's working but the screen might be damaged as sometimes i can use it, sometimes it's all white. I'm trying to make it dry with rice and see how that goes but in the meantime I need to buy a phone as I need a GPS (google maps) so where can I buy a really cheap one (like 40$) tomorrow morning ? Has to be in a store, can't wait for it to be shipped, and unlocked ! Android and able to charge it with a Samsung cable in the car. Thanks ! (I'm in Brunswick, Melbourne)

My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was dropped by a ghost into the toilet

Read that as my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 dropped a ghost into the toilet. Impressive.

    sometimes it's all white

The ghost? Nah, I hope it'll be all white too.

Head to Coles or Woolies and see what they have on special … and in stock.

    • Well done hahaha

anyway look at coles and woolworths catalogs as they have a few this week in both then you have to go and seek mif your local stores have stock.

Go old school. Buy a Melways. It's more achievable than your criteria.

    • Hahaha damn I sure miss France, even getting a crappy smartphone is expensive down under !

It's not really. It's the "unlocked" and "I need it now" criteria that's killing your chances.

        • It is really. In France you can find a all bunch of unlocked smartphones between 10 to 50€ (we got rid of the "locked" BS a long time ago)
We even have plans that costs you 2€ per month with unlimited calls, texts and plenty of Gigas ! Sometimes it can even be free if you own the provider's internet box.
Everything in regards of owning a smartphone down here feels like stone age's rip off to me…

@FrenchFrie: Hmmm, that didn't come up when I searched Vodaphone. Anyway, good find, not unlocked but the right price and operating system.

        • @sparkles: It is ! I'll sell it after mine come back from repair

        • @sparkles: it's probably because the word you're after is Vodafone!

        • Lol, I hope your not using that as your permanent phone. Maybe you should spend around $100 to get a decent phone like a Xiaomi or the Sony as mentioned above.

        • @hashtagbargain: OMG haha you are correct.

        • @BagIt: It's only temporary ! I'll get my Note 4 fixed eventually !
