  • isn't it $419?

    • Yes, it is 419. Fixed. Thank you.

      • Body of post still says $449

    • Also, minimum shipping fee seems to be $8.95 (they don't offer pickup).

It's $419 which is only about a $35 saving from many other places. Far from the $280 they are suggesting.

jeez…. I should have brodened these last year when they were selling for $350ish in eBay sales

    • Yeah. Unfortunately the nand shortage is starting to bite! In 12/18 months when the new factories ramp up (Toshibas, Samsungs, and SanDisk's) hopefully should see prices come down again -wouldn't surprise me if there was some deliberate shortages however, I'm sure these companies are enjoying the high prices!

    • Shoulda woulda coulda.. nobody really knew at the time most likely. It's just like trading shares - hindsight is great.

  • buy two 500gb SDDs and put them in RAID 0, cheaper and faster

      And less reliable :)

    • It's more expensive than the single 1TB 850 EVO.

Faster, more expensive and less reliable.
