Seems expensive for a ATOM cpu.

    • Was looking around and some with better cpu but very low storage or cost an arm ot leg. So trying to find out what's the best convertible 2 in 1. =)

If your willing to go second hand there is lots of surface pros 3 around the 500 mark.

    • Yep. After checking out the Chinese tablets for under $200 this looks expensive for the same specs(Excluding HDD). The Chinese tablets also give you Android.

for that price you can get a cube mix plus with a core i7-7Y30, 128GB SSD and 4GB RAM ($407~ + $60 for keyboard)

specs look good but suffers from overheating. the guy in the youtube link has a DIY on how to install ur own heatsink

    • Core M* Not core i7 ;)

      • Core m3 if you want to be technically correct (the best kind of correct).

Regardless, this chip curb stomps the Atom chip in the HP tablet. And considering the number of Chinese Cherry Trail laptop/tablet convertibles at 1920x1080 under $300, you'd have to be a bit insane to buy this HP laptop at $550, even with the gift card. Spend a little more and get a refurb Dell 11 5000 instead.
