I'm looking for an 8" tablet, would prefer Android but have used Apple in the past.
Are there some particular websites I should check for cheaper prices? Grey import is fine, actually ideal, as it would hopefully save money.

I ended up going for the Woolworths Telstra essential tab for around $45 I think it was. I got it as temporary measure until I could get what I wanted, but person was very happy with it for their purpose, so didn't end up with 8 inch.

Nvidia Shield K1 is still a good device if you like stock android with updates. Although specs are a bit outdated such as 2GB RAM, its still fast enough with the K1 CPU. The X1 is the newest CPU but Nvidia hasnt made a tablet with it yet. You can get it from Amazon for $200 US (not including shipping)

Asus Zenpad S8 - comparable to the Nvidia Shield but without the updates.
