You can play it free online as well via the dev's website, or grab the files and play it wherever you've got a browser.

If you find the action a little too slow, jump in and tweak the constants:

script\room.js: _STOKE_COOLDOWN ('stoke fire')
script\outside.js: _GATHER_DELAY ('gather wood'), _TRAPS_DELAY ('check traps')

The April Fools' edition is a worth a giggle too.
