I love your reply more than the product. ROFL

      • thanks for your appreciation. you have made my day.

  • Ordered. Been wanting one for a while. Thanks OP

  • Will you guys be using this in leui of flossing? I thought they weren't as good?

    • I have one and floss as well when I feel it needs doing. Sometimes things get stuck that the water pressure won't remove. But the water jet does remove stuff that flossing leaves.

why not buy an ebay $100 voucher for $85 from groupon makes the price under $100

    • (profanity) just bought 2 vouchers.

2-4 business day delivery. 50 bucks says this deal is gone by the time they get delivered geez

    • Can you stack multiple vouchers together?

  • Thanks for this! I was so so close to buying one today from Chemist Warehouse…

I've only read and heard decent \ good things about these things, so i'll give it a shot. Just bought one.

It's not a super large unit (which is good), as i checked it out today.

    Thanks again.

As someone with braces, the Waterpik is a godsend. Really good deal!

  • This product is okay but I find that after using it, and then flossing to check how good it was, the flossing still removed other bits of food not removed but the waterflosser

    • for me the opposite, after brushing + flossing and waterpik still produces things at the end. maybe my waterpik skill is better than brushing and flossing, not sure.

  • Good for removing tonsil stones.

    • Exactly what I was thinking of using g this for. Cotton buds usually draw some blood for me.

      • Well if you use this on high pressure it will also cause bleeding, I generally use settings 5 and under for tonsil stone extraction.
Only just discovered this last week, I was using ear buds and gagging to remove them before but it wasn't working, I still had breath that would peel paint off walls, it was putrid.
Then I read that the water pick is good so I pointed the tip right in the pocket of stench and boom! About 20 specs of yellow and green stench balls came flying out and just like that my breath was fresh. I'm a changed man ;)

This one is cheaper and newer model. With the correct voltage setting as Australia.

    • Oh noooooo! This one has the proper common sense button which allows you to properly control the on/off. And it obviously looks far more slick.

Damn it! I just bought the Chemist Warehouse one!

Can i cancel it do you think? Since delivery is estimated for 4th April.

      Bugger..

      • Change of mind returns

The item must not have been used or damaged in any way including that
        It is in its original packaging including manuals, pamphlets and all accessories;
It is unopened, unused and in its original saleable condition
The product is not one on which a change of mind return is not available (see below).
If these requirements are not satisfied Chemist Warehouse reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind returns.

        • Damn, well that sucks, considering i don't even have the product and it's not on it's way or anything like that. If anything, still in it's processing phase. But i do understand this is a standard sort of policy with some places. Thanks for the info. I still might try via ebay.

        • @swifty7:
I'm thinking the one from chemist warehouse
$102 with groupon voucher compared to $123 on amazon for a different design
          Don't you agree?

        • Other differences look like the amazon one has "Hydro-Pulse Massage Mode & LED Mode Indicators" and "7 Tips" instead of 6. But we'd have to use a socket adapter???

        • @lilviss: I bought mine for $107, but if you can get it with the groupon voucher for $102, then that's pretty good also!!

I much prefer the amazon one though. Check this link for the differences: http://waterflosserreviews.com/waterpik-ultra-vs-aquarius/

The Amazon one has LED function, On/Off water control (much better than continuous flow with Pause), an additional tip, and looks much nicer.

        • @swifty7: There are plenty on ebay from the US for about $120 also. Even a customer return for $70 lol
          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Waterpik-WP-660-Aquarius-Professi…

The ultra does have a pause button apparently
I don''t have the need for other modes (which is what the led is for i believe)
Since the ultra does pause, I don't think I'll need the extra tip.
Too bad it looks crappy :/

        • @lilviss: Haha how gross..hopefully not used..

Yep, it does have a pause button, but you have to hold it down to pause (i think it works as a water blocker - not allowing water to pass through), instead of an actually button. Once you press the on button on the machine, it will start spraying. So you would have to be prepared. Which is odd and uncomfortable i would imagine.

        • @lilviss: Maybe I've just overthought this whole thing, i have a headache.

        • @swifty7: Likewise haha. I might just get a US one with my ebay voucher if there's no issues with adapters

        • @swifty7:
On 2nd thought, looks like the US one doesn't have compatiable voltage.
          Yayyyy…

        • @lilviss: There's no turning back for me now, i just got an e-mail saying it's been sent.. :`( Maybe it's a sign. Looks like Chemist Warehouse wins

        • @swifty7: If you read the Amazon reviews from people who have both of them, there are many who prefer the Ultra over the Aquarius. So I wouldn't feel hard done by.

    • I'm getting 117 aud shipped but I agree that it's much better value.

      • I'm getting $123 too. how did you manage to get $117?

        • Are you paying in GBP? Amazon's conversion rates aren't that great.

        • No. I choose pay in aus dollar.

          This is what I got

          Items: GBP 57.04
          Postage & Packing: GBP 15.13

          Total before VAT: GBP 72.17
          VAT: GBP 0.00

          (Order Total: GBP 72.17)
          Payment Total: AUD 123.70

        • @Shanda: Choose to pay in GBP and let your card company convert it not amazon and it'll end up slightly cheaper.

    • I'm getting $123. Why is this one much better r0nmac?

  • +1

What about this one for $29.95?

    Hydro Floss Cordless Oral Irrigator

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/299397

    • I got one of those from that other deal. Damn, I wasn't expecting that much power!! …Although I've not used alternatives for a comparison.

  • Here are the differences between amazon advertised one and chemist warehouse one:

    http://waterflosserreviews.com/waterpik-ultra-vs-aquarius/

    Amazon item has:
    - On/Off button control on handle
    - an additional waterpik
    - LED screen
    - a couple of additional modes

  • Difference between this http://shop.panasonic.com/personal-care/oral-care/water-flos…

    Heavily reviewe 4.4 stars

and the one mentioned from amazing UK?
    WP-660UK

  • I apologize, I accidentally selected "Associated". There is no clear way to fix that.

I shouldn't have called it cheaper - but better. I bought it for about AUD ~110 few weeks back.

Amzon.com lists the US model - WP-660. Amazon UK lists WP-660E2 & WP-660UK. All 3 have excellent reviews.

I am appalled that we have to pay top dollar for (EOL) End Of Line products.

    • Note the US model says this
"Compatible With 120VAC/60Hz Outlets, For use in North America only. Any warranty will be voided through the sale and use of the product outside North America. Shipment outside of North America is prohibited by Waterpik"

      • Amazon.co.uk model is compatible (220v).

        • did you read the reviews comparing it to the ultra? everyone ive read says the ultra is better.

  • I've seen this yest in costco for $110

  • +1

I bought one of these maybe 2 years ago and paid $170 for it, and to this day still say that it's the best thing I've ever bought for sub$200 (even if i did get ripped off)
