A 16Gb USB 2.0 flash drive containing PDF copies of magazines for only $125? I cannot imagine why it is reduced from $250.

Because you would have paid about 29 years x 12 issues/year say $8 each = $2700+ for all the magazines if you have bought them when published.

  • LOL how is this a deal……?
PCD Designs, Microcontrollers, Programmable Logic and so much more changes quicker than the technology itself.
This is like paying for out of date food.

      Expired food? WooHoo!

Because if you're in the business of designing circuits, it's helpful to see how someone else approached the problem previously, so you can avoid the mistakes they made.

There's still a lot of demand for "old" designs, and you can update them with newer parts if desired. Some designs don't go out of date, like how to add a video overlay to a composite video signal (as produced by many security cameras).

"Ships with plastic case for easy storage"

Thank god - USB drives are so difficult to store otherwise.
