Registered Charity Needs Free Coffee To Make Volunteers Smile

Hello Everyone,

Somehow I have been further fast talked into helping a friend who volunteers at a charity, perhaps this 'helping' will counter some of my past sinful ways.

OK, registered charity ALLGREENCARE needs coffee to keep it's volunteers happy.
People are crying, There is currently zero coffee at the charity office insert sad face
No coffee neans a war is brewing, they don't want a war brewing they want coffee brewing - FREE COFFEE

Is there anyone who can source or donate free coffee to them, maybe even coffee making apparatus?

Are there any coffee reps, business owners, distributors who can supply? - PLEASE MESSAGE me and I will pass on your details and some uncaffeinated, but friendly, person will contact you.

This post is in addition to my other help a [same] charity post:

Details of the charity are
allgreencare.org.au

https://www.facebook.com/AllGreenCare
They supply IT hardware and training to disadvantaged children and adults.

Please help or pass on the request if you know someone who can help.

Thanks,
Adhoc

  • Can you ask your friend what name the charity is registered under?

ALLGREENCARE doesn't show on the ACNC register.

    • Hopefully this clears it up.
      All Green Care Limited

      • Must not be registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)

        • So before all the conspiracy theory nuts get all frothy at the mouth

          limited = ltd
          search the ACNC register for
          All Green Care ltd
          or
          ABN 476 153 987 51

47615398751 All Green Care Ltd Surry Hills NSW 2010 Registered

Just pay your free labor for the work they do. Much better way to make people smile, and they will buy their preferred drink.

Otherwise charity is taking advantage of someone who is not considered disadvantaged to help the ones who are considered disadvantaged, crazy.

      and that helps how ???

      • In terms of you having free coffee, for people selling their time for free, with the goal of saving the world by providing raspberry PIs in green enclosure - it doesn't, sorry. Good idea though (sarcasm).

pretty sure Nescafe blend 43 can be bought cheaply….were they expecting single original barista quality?

I worked for a charity and we never got free anything… no drinks in the office, no lunch allowance and no reimbursement for OPal cards or ferry rides.

Why can't their staff buy their own goddamn coffee lol

How about you just ask everyone in the office to put in $1 and go buy some international roast or something.
Your charity will probably be short lived if you have to keep asking ozbargain for advice/leads.
Go pan handle, do a bunnings sausage sizzle or something. Surely you will be able to buy some coffee after that.

I really have no idea about this thread
A charity should be able to find funding / get coffee but their own merit

It really seems to me that this charity wants everything for nothing, this is the real world surely they can all chip in 2 dollars for some coffee of all things

It seems ironic that people are happy to give their time for free but expect coffee, it also raises more questions about the morals of this "charity" and how it operates

If I was being honest I would tell the staff to suck it up and bring their own coffee in, it's a charity not a cafe

what next? You want people to donate the milk? sugar? crockery?…I'm all for supporting charities but surely the charity top dog can source cheap instant coffee for everyone.

  • Wow !!!
Trying to help a charity here.

My other thread had helpful people on it - you guys are just plain sh*tty

I am absolutely disgusted by all your attitudes !
