  • Doesn't this app require the Developer's physical guitar preamp to work with it first? The 'iRig Acoustic' is their guitar preamp (like a microphone) that clips on to your acoustic guitar's sound hole to pick the sound up in the first place. I guess if you had a semi-acoustic or an electric-acoustic guitar that already had a built-in preamp, it might work with the app.. not sure if it's proprietary software or not.

It's a free app no one is forcing you to get it. If you don't like it just move on

      • No mate, I'm not bagging it.. I'm telling folks they may need the hardware that goes with it or it won't do anything.

        • You are correct, while it will work with the built in mic, it will not sound as it is designed. as for the down votes you got, its from lizard Spock, he doesn't like people who don't think this is a deal.

Thanks apple96 for all the comment negging. Bet you wish you had more that 5 to use 24hrs.

    • that is pure speculation. why would I waste my negative votes on you?

That fact that you returned to the post increases my suspicions

        • my return was due to a notification that doesn't want to be unread.
