You got me. Sitting here indignantly, thinking "bloody hell!" Good one, lol.

  • Any opinions on the Van Delft Belgian Lager 330mL? It's usually $55 delivered, now only $45. link

Quick glance at online reviews indicate it's not that good. As a former resident of the Netherlands, I can safely say I never saw this for sale either at the supermarkt or on tap, in any part of the country.

      • I guess I'll avoid it then. Thanks.

  • We're in the middle of autumn now in VIC, who'd want to drink a feral session ales and corona's? More stouts, bocks and porters DM!

Up here in QLD, it's permanently summer.

      Still won't drink Corona though.

    • Not sure about you JDM, but every cold climate country I have lived in or visited still enjoys a cold lager, even in the middle of winter!

      • Well yeah, i don't mind a cold lager in winter. I guess feral sly fox session ale is just an extremely carbonated beer that matches warm weather more. I just thought 1 autumn/winter beer would be good as a monthly beer for the colder states this month as it starts to cool down.

    • I agree on the part about not drinking Corona except that should be a year-round thing.

  • Bought a couple of 6 packs of the feral. The style is like a light hoppy american wheat

  • dan murphys were selling sly fox for $10 a few months back and given the quality $10 is about the price for it. wouldn't pay more than that.

I got in on that deal and it was short dated stock about to reach its best before date. Tasted completely different from normal feral sly fox which is fresh and fruity, that deal had beer that tasted metallic and skunked like lemon soda water. I cancelled an order of 3 other six packs after i tasted one six pack. This feral sly fox will taste similar to mountain goat summer ale.
