    New customer = new account?

      yes

    • Yes but it has checks in place to stop people from using it more than once. Not sure what, but after I put in my details such as CC number and address it removed the discount.

  • The site doesn't seem to filter out items that you can't import into Australia. Is the site Australian and item shipped locally, or is it offshore?

    • Everything should be importable to Australia unless its something specifically not allowed by customs? I've used iHerb a few times over the years, I buy in bulk so I get 12-18 months between shops. Everything arrives fine. It tends to be slightly more expensive than Amazon but pointless comparison when Amazon doesn't ship most supplements to Australia anymore.

iHerb isn't Australian though, shipping will take 2-3 weeks from memory.

I love it, much cheaper than Chemist Warehouse for many things. But it's not just the price, you can buy supplements from the US market not available in Australia such as Zinc Orotate, Magnesium Orotate. We're a decade behind the times with some supplements here.

      • It's dangerous to import items that are not available in Australia because it may be banned.

I see on iHerb that yohimbine items are sold and available to ship to Australia, yet it is a controlled import substance and you will get into hassles with Australian Customs if you try to import it. This was just 1 example and there may be many more.

        • Fair point, unsure if my supplements are on the banned list but they've always made it to my door. I have extreme deficiency in certain vitamins and minerals due to a condition developed a few years ago, so these much more absorbable forms of supplements are a game changer for me. Taking the crap available locally would be no more effective than eating chalk for me.
